Sanders Leaves Game After Hit

The Broncos confirmed his status, ruling him out for the game:

Troy Renck of The Denver Post described the play:

Will Carroll of Bleacher Report also weighed in:

Following the game, Sanders spoke about how he was feeling, via Jeff Legwold of ESPN:

Sanders truly hit the ground running in Denver, with 75 or more receiving yards in his first four games—including a stretch of three straight games with 100 receiving yards, tying a Denver record—and almost made the suspension to Wes Welker to start the season irrelevant. A versatile receiver who can play either out wide or in the slot, Sanders quickly became one of Manning's most trusted targets after joining the team as a free agent this offseason.

Those traits have made Sanders the perfect fit in Denver's offense. With Demaryius Thomas providing the big plays and Julius Thomas dominating in the red zone, Sanders has become Manning's favored target in the intermediate timing routes and has the speed to also get loose down the field. And it would appear that the 27-year-old is only going to continue to grow in this offense.
