
2014 Week 6 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings
With another exciting week of football under our belts, here are the Lester’s Legends 2014 Week 6 fantasy football wide receiver rankings.
1. Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons
Julio Jones is averaging 110.4 yards and 0.6 touchdowns. He faces the Chicago Bears. The Bears have allowed 247.8 yards and 1.6 touchdowns per game.
2. Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers
Antonio Brown is averaging 102.2 yards and a touchdown per game. He faces the Cleveland Browns again. He dropped 116 yards and a touchdown on them in Week 1.
3. Jordy Nelson, Green Bay Packers
Jordy Nelson is averaging 105 yards and 0.8 touchdowns per game. He has three touchdowns in the past two weeks. Nelson faces the Miami Dolphins.
4. Demaryius Thomas, Denver Broncos
Demaryius Thomas is averaging 91.8 yards and 0.8 touchdowns per game. He is coming off a dominating performance of 226 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Arizona Cardinals. He should continue the dominance against the New York Jets. The Jets have allowed 12 passing touchdowns already.
5. Brandon Marshall, Chicago Bears
Brandon Marshall is averaging just 37.6 yards per game, but he has scored five touchdowns. He should see more targets this week against the Falcons, which should lead to a big day.
6. Alshon Jeffery, Chicago Bears
Alshon Jeffery is averaging 71.8 yards and 0.4 touchdowns. Over the past three weeks, he’s averaging 80.3 yards and 0.7 touchdowns. He should continue to shine against the Falcons. Atlanta has allowed 259.6 yards per game.
7. A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals
A.J. Green is averaging 78.5 yards and 0.5 touchdowns per game despite leaving Week 2 early due to a toe injury. He takes on the Carolina Panthers this week. Carolina has allowed a pair of passing touchdowns per game.
8. Randall Cobb, Green Bay Packers
Randall Cobb is averaging just 54.6 yards, but he has scored six touchdowns. He also has three scores in the past two weeks. He’ll look to extend the scoring spree against the Dolphins.
9. Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys
Dez Bryant is averaging 75.2 yards and has scored a touchdown in four straight games. He has a tough matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, but Bryant is WR1 regardless of the opposition.
10. Jeremy Maclin, Philadelphia Eagles
Jeremy Maclin is averaging 85.8 yards and has scored a touchdown in four of five games this year. He faces the New York Giants this week. The G-Men have allowed 265 yards and a touchdown per game.
11. Steve Smith, Baltimore Ravens
Steve Smith is averaging 92.6 yards and 0.6 touchdowns. Expect a strong showing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs have allowed 292.2 yards and a pair of touchdowns per game.
12. Vincent Jackson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Vincent Jackson scored a touchdown in Weeks 3 and 4 before breaking out with 144 yards last week against the New Orleans Saints. He’ll look to remain hot against the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore has allowed 269.2 passing yards per game.
13. Emmanuel Sanders, Denver Broncos
Emmanuel Sanders is averaging 108.8 yards per game. He has topped 100 yards in three straight games, and his low-water mark is 77 yards. He should keep rolling against the Jets.
14. Victor Cruz, New York Giants
Victor Cruz is averaging 64.2 yards per game. After a quiet Week 5, look for Cruz to step up against the Eagles. Philly is allowing 274.2 yards and 2.6 touchdowns per game.
15. Percy Harvin, Seattle Seahawks
Percy Harvin had three touchdowns called back last week due to penalties. His luck should change this week against Dallas. The ‘Boys have allowed 247.8 yards and 1.6 touchdowns per game.
16. Mike Wallace, Miami Dolphins
Mike Wallace is averaging 61.5 yards and has scored a touchdown in three of four games. He faces the Green Bay Packers.
17. Keenan Allen, San Diego Chargers
Keenan Allen is averaging 53.8 yards per game. After scoring eight touchdowns last year as a rookie, he has yet to record a touchdown this year. That could change against the Oakland Raiders.
18. Kelvin Benjamin, Carolina Panthers
Kelvin Benjamin is averaging 73.4 yards and 0.6 touchdowns per game. He has received at least eight targets every game this year. Benjamin should remain active against the Cincinnati Bengals.
19. Roddy White, Atlanta Falcons
Roddy White is averaging 53.3 yards and 0.5 touchdowns per game. He should have a strong showing against the Bears.
20. Golden Tate, Detroit Lions
Golden Tate is averaging 90.2 yards on the year and 125 yards the past two weeks as Calvin Johnson has dealt with an ankle injury. Tate should be targeted heavily against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikes have allowed 1.8 touchdown passes per game.
