Fresh Bayern Will Be Ready to Attack

Guardiola's rotational policy saw Robert Lewandowski, Mario Gotze and Xabi Alonso start on the bench during the 0-0 draw with Hamburg, all of whom can be expected to return in Tuesday's fixture.
Arjen Robben has enjoyed a rest period of six days since coming on as a substitute against Manchester City in the Champions League. The Dutchman showed how quickly he can make an impact against the Premier League side and is likely to be deployed as Guardiola aims to perch Bayern atop the German division.
A fresher attacking outlook is certainly needed against Paderborn, who have conceded just twice this campaign.
Bayern's ability to dictate the pace of play will be key against Breitenreiter's side, who are drilled to work as a compact unit across the pitch. Alonso's positioning in the centre will allow Gotze plenty of opportunities to support the attack and will also see the German receive the ball to feet in advanced areas.

Should Gotze manage to float between Paderborn's midfield and defensive lines, he will be able to pull the opposition out of position on a regular basis. This will provide Lewandowski with the chance to isolate a single defender in a physical battle and should also see Robben afforded space on the flanks.
Bundesliga expert Clark Whitney outlined Robben as the difference maker in his piece for B/R UK:
"Time and time again he's been the man to deliver on the big stage for Bayern. And although a league match with a promoted side is not exactly the greatest occasion, Bayern really do need a win for the sake of their confidence. Come Tuesday, all eyes will be on Robben.
"
While Guardiola will secretly be looking for goals against a Paderborn side who are inexperienced at the top level, the Spanish manager will be content with seeing his squad in first place at the end of 90 minutes. Such viewing may provide a morale boost for the champions, who are yet to hit full pace this campaign.
No Pressure on Paderborn
Breitenreiter has remained realistic in the build-up to the match, stressing that his players should take the opportunity to soak up one of the sport's most impressive stadiums. Even so, the boss is adamant his side won't roll over for Bayern.
"We're not travelling to Munich to take photos" said Breitenreiter, per BBC Sport. "We want to show our best performance and give our all. The guys should enjoy the match."
Paderborn arrive without expectation or pressure. A lack of both around the squad prior to the season has certainly helped the minnows launch their surprising start to life in the top flight, but the tight-knit group will have to take it up a level if they are to contain Bayern on their own turf.
Elias Kachunga is proving prolific and is currently the division's second top scorer, but he is likely to receive limited supply throughout the match.
Similarly, Moritz Stoppelkamp will be fortunate to receive anywhere near the space which saw him blast home a volley from on the edge of his own box against Hannover. While Manuel Neuer likes to come off his line, even the German No. 1 isn't that erratic.
No matter the result, Paderborn will be excited to travel to Munich with a sense of occasion propping up the match. This fixture could have easily been spoken about as a top versus bottom whooping, even at this stage, but the visitors have a pressure-free chance to write history.
A loss would barely impact Paderborn's season, while for Bayern, anything other than a convincing win will galvanise the feeling that Guardiola is failing to get the best out of a squad that is crammed with talent.
