Swansea vs. Everton: Capital One Cup Date, Time, Live Stream and More
Everton will travel to Wales to take on Swansea in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday. With both clubs expected to tinker with their starting XI, fans could be in for a wild night.
The hosts have enjoyed a fine start to the Premier League season, while the Toffees have European football to take into consideration, so Tuesday's fixture will give a host of fringe players a chance to impress.
Cup football always brings a special atmosphere, and this Capital One Cup clash is shaping up to be a beautiful one.

The hosts started the 2014-15 Premier League season with three consecutive wins but have lost their last two matches, while Everton have lost two of their last three and have conceded a league-worst 13 goals, per WhoScored.com.
None of that will matter on Tuesday, however. The Swans are trying to get back to their winning ways—the Toffees have a date with rivals Liverpool and Europa League football on the schedule.
Tuesday's fixture is as much about figuring things out and finding the winning formula as it is about the actual result. Roberto Martinez admitted as much, telling reporters he wants to see some of his fringe players step up, per the Daily Star's Chris McKenna:
"It is important because it opens up opportunities for players to show what they can do.
It is also important that another game has come so soon to move on quickly and I'm looking forward to seeing some players in positions to keep the competition up.
"
One player who will relish the opportunity to show what he can do is Bryan Oviedo, who is expected to return to the pitch for the first time since a horrific injury back in January.
The Guardian's Andy Hunter confirmed he was in the squad traveling to Wales:
Arouna Kone could also make his return, per McKenna, and a cup tie is the perfect opportunity for both players to get their legs under them.
For Swans, Jefferson Montero is yet to make an impression, and the 25-year-old is another bench player likely to receive an extended run (or a start) on Tuesday.
Swansea will be looking for more than just a ticket to the next round of the Capital One Cup. As reported by Wales Online's Steve Tucker, the club's record against Everton is bad, to put it lightly:
"The two clubs met three times last season and the hold the Toffees have over the Swans continued as they triumphed in all the games. In the Premier League it was 3-2 to the Toffees on Merseyside and 2-1 to the visitors in Swansea. In the FA Cup in February Everton saw off the Swans 3-1 at Goodison Park. [...]
Swansea’s record against Everton is absolutely dreadful. They have only met 15 times down the years in the league and FA Cup, but not only are Swansea yet to win they have not actually managed a draw with the Toffees in Swansea itself since an old Division Two clash way back in October 1952 which finished 2-2.
"
Garry Monk was on the pitch when Swansea won the League Cup in 2013, and he will likely value the trophy more than Martinez, who has to focus on the Europa League and a top-six finish in the Premier League.
Expect a close battle on Tuesday, in which the hosts ultimately finally pick up their first win over the Toffees.
