Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s 'All Access' Highlights, Training Info and Twitter Hype

R. Cory SmithSep 9, 2014

On Saturday night, the entire boxing world will be fixated on two men—again.

After an exhilarating match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Marcos Maidana in May, the two fighters are set to battle this weekend. And with a chip on his shoulder, Mayweather has let it all hang out during Showtime's All Access show.

The undefeated boxer is ready to shine yet again on the big stage against Maidana. Following one of the closest sessions of his career in the ring, Money has remained confident and heads into the match looking to move to 47-0.

As many fans have come to expect, he has worked on improving from the match and has shown some of that during the latest episodes. Prior to the match, he spoke about that preparation and downplayed Maidana in the process, per David Mayo of MLive.com:

"

What I can do, what makes me a little different than any other fighter, is I'm well-rounded and very versatile, as far as I can box, I can counterpunch, I can bang, I can do a little bit of everything. That's why I'm at the pinnacle in the sport right now. Can he switch up anything? I don't really think so. I mean, that's just my gut feeling.

"

Before the match gets underway on Saturday night, here's a look at some of the highlights from All Access and more surrounding the fight.

Breakdown of All Access Highlights and More

With boxing fans holding out hope for yet another eventful night on Saturday, they're getting a taste of what's to come from Mayweather during his show.

One of the biggest components of the latest episode was Mayweather's preparation for the fight. During the preview of the episode, Mayweather was shown running and proving his dedication to the sport with, fittingly enough, "All Night Long" playing in the background.

Never mind the Rolls Royce or hoards of people around him, it's clear that Money is more than prepared for what's to come. After all, who would exert that type of persona if he wasn't confident about Saturday night?

Mayweather also spoke about what it took to arrive at where he's at in his illustrious career in the latest episode.

"I bust my ass. I work my heart out to be my own boss, to make my own moves," Mayweather said. "I dedicate myself to my craft. Once I saw I could make $100 million in boxing, I said, 'I will become the best.' Once you put that check in my face and I see all the zeroes, I'm a perfectionist."

Mayweather wasn't the only focal point of the show, as Maidana got his time in the spotlight. The 31-year-old pushed Money to the brink in their first match and even had a 114-114 draw on a scorecard from Michael Pernick.

But coming close to beating Mayweather isn't the goal for any boxer despite the fact that no one has taken him down. Showtime Sports put out a quote from the show to hype the fight up prior to Saturday:

While he comes in underestimated, El Chino is tasked with an unbelievably difficult goal against Money. He may have worn down the 46-0 fighter in the first match, but Mayweather has noted he comes in more prepared for the rematch.

One point that Mayweather has been sure to make is that he won't allow the same tactics that hurt him in the first fight. ESPN.co.uk Boxing referenced that leading up to this weekend:

With both fighters having plenty to prove on Saturday, expect the fight to live up to the hype. After going 12 rounds with one another back in May, it should be an all-out brawl to decide the rematch.

As the buildup continues, supporters of each boxer will be out to hype up the match. Both fighters appear to be at the pinnacle of their success, but only one will come out retaining their place in the boxing world.
