NBA Playoff Schedule 2014: TV Info, Bracket and Predictions for 1st Round
Just one game can tell so much about a series. And with most matchups in the 2014 NBA playoffs already having one game out of the way, several teams already have the upper hand in the crucial first-round series.
Whether it's the Miami Heat rolling the Charlotte Bobcats, the San Antonio Spurs closing strong against the Dallas Mavericks or the Atlanta Hawks pulling off the huge upset over the Indiana Pacers, the first round has already been an intriguing one for NBA fans.
Several lower seeds nailed down massive upsets over the weekend, as the No. 6 Golden State Warriors and No. 6 Brooklyn Nets joined the Hawks in the upset column. With those upsets in hand for the lower seeds, many of the top seeds must take at least one win on the road to advance.
Before the next slate of games get underway on Monday, here's a look at the playoff bracket courtesy of NBA.com, full TV information and predictions for the remainder of the playoffs.

Breakdown of First Round
As much as the NBA cherishes the individual superstars in the league, it's the best teams that have shined thus far.
The Heat's Big Three and the Spurs' cast of stars will always be mentioned at the top of the list, but the Warriors deserve their due after pulling together against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Reeling after the loss of Andrew Bogut to a rib fracture, the Warriors were able to muster up enough offense to down the high-flying Clippers. J.A. Adande of ESPN points out one statistic during the contest that should come as a surprise without the big man:
The final numbers in the game saw the Warriors out-rebounding the Clippers 48-42. With much of their offensive success relying on players such as Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan hauling in boards, losing in that category is unacceptable for the Clippers.
Expect Los Angeles to dominate the paint in the second game of the series and knot the series up at 1-1 heading to Golden State for the third game of the matchup.
As for the East, no games will take place on Monday night, but a huge showdown for the Pacers awaits on Tuesday night. After getting drubbed by the Hawks in an embarrassing opening loss, Indiana continued its woes late in the season and looks destined for one of the biggest collapses in NBA history.
Even as the No. 1 seed in the East, the Pacers defense is not enough to make up for team's lack of production. ESPN Stats & Info notes why the loss against Atlanta was such a crucial one for Indiana:
And with one of the most pivotal games of the season upcoming for Indiana, Roy Hibbert is continuing to have poor performances. The 7'2" center was held to just eight points in the first game of the series and was blocked twice by 6'7" Kyle Korver.
It clearly wasn't a good night for the big man, and he spoke about his performance following the contest, putting the blame on himself, sort of.
"We just have to get certain guys under control as a team," he said, according to the The Indianapolis Star (subscription required). "I'm sure we'll look over film. I'm the main culprit in terms of being the weak link on defense because they have a spread-five lineup. I guess we'll have to adjust."
Even with the offensive struggles for Hibbert and the Pacers as a whole, Indiana will ultimately prevail in this series. A lot of growing up has to happen for the Pacers to be any contest for the Heat in the East, but expect a much improved version of the Pacers in Game 2.
With each series relying heavily on the second game, much more will be known about how the matchups are decided after the pivotal contests. For teams such as the Pacers and Clippers, their great seasons and championship hopes might be on the line as they face another arduous test in the coming days.
