Criticism Over Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker Build
There is a firm belief that The Undertaker's 21-0 streak at WrestleMania should and will never end. Taker's 'Mania record is arguably the most impressive feat in sports entertainment, and it is something that could essentially live forever in history if preserved correctly.
With that in mind, there is little doubt that The Deadman will reign supreme over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX. From a physical standpoint, Lesnar is one of the biggest threats there has ever been to the streak. Logically speaking, though, there is no real reason for Lesnar to end it. Not only is he established to the point where ending the streak wouldn't give him a significant boost, but he is also a part-time performer to boot.
Even though most wrestling fans already know the result of this match in their heart of hearts, there is always a desire to see two combatants built up equally well prior to WrestleMania. That wasn't necessarily the case with Taker and Lesnar, though, as Lesnar didn't get the better of The Undertaker until the go-home edition of Raw.
According to WrestlingInc.com (via The Wrestling Observer Newsletter), a number of people within WWE don't feel as though the company did enough to build Lesnar into a legitimate threat.
Taker has definitely looked like the stronger of the two wrestlers from a physical standpoint, although Paul Heyman has done an excellent job hyping his client on television, on Twitter and through essentially every platform possible:
Following Lesnar's F-5 on Taker during the most recent episode of Raw, it would have been a nice touch for Lesnar to cover Taker and for Heyman to make the three count. That would have offered a proper visual of The Undertaker beating Lesnar, and it would have changed the entire dynamic.
The match is going to be spectacular despite its predictability, but it's tough to argue with the notion that Lesnar should have been built a bit better during the lead up.
Will CM Punk Make His WWE Return?

CM Punk hasn't been seen on WWE programming since being one of the final Superstars eliminated from the Royal Rumble. There has been a great deal of speculation regarding when or if he might return ever since then, but "The Best in the World" has managed to remain out of the spotlight. With the biggest show of the year on the horizon, however, it is only natural that the Punk whispers are growing louder.
Punk won't be part of the WrestleMania card itself in New Orleans, but it isn't out of the question that he could potentially show up and get involved in some way. Punk appeared to be on the fast track to a feud with Triple H prior to his decision to walk away, so The Game could be a potential target for Punk if he reenters the fold.
While nobody aside from Punk and some high-ranking WWE officials know about his status for sure, WWE legend and Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin has an inkling that Punk will play some type of role at WrestleMania XXX.
According to WrestlingInc.com, Austin discussed the possibility of Punk appearing at WrestleMania during his latest podcast:
"It's been a long time, I think (Punk has) cooled his jets, he's got some rest, and I think it's time to get back to work. I don't see him participating in a match but it would be great to see him in a run-in to establish himself, to entrench himself immediately in a memorable and just a great moment, and I would say plant himself firmly in the middle of an angle, because he would be the angle, by attacking whoever he sees fit to attack or asserting his presence rather, whatever the case may be. But I see CM Punk coming back at WrestleMania 30.
"
While Austin probably doesn't have an inside perspective on the situation, he obviously has a ton of experience within the business, so his opinion carries a lot of weight.
A Punk return at WrestleMania would be one of the most exciting moments in WWE history, but since it feels very much like Sunday should be Daniel Bryan's night, there may be apprehension in terms of having Punk overshadow him.
Sting's Status For WrestleMania Weekend

As much excitement as there is surrounding The Undertaker vs. Lesnar at WrestleMania, fans may be even more intrigued by Sting's potential WWE debut. Sting has been linked to WWE countless times over the years, but things have never come together. Now that Sting is 55 years old and seemingly done with TNA, though, the time is now for both sides to make something happen.
Interestingly enough, it has already been confirmed that Sting will be in New Orleans during WrestleMania weekend for WrestleCon. Whether or not that means he will be making his WWE debut remains unclear, however.
Per WrestlingInc.com (via F4WOnline), Sting's representatives insisted that he isn't scheduled for WrestleMania or the following episode of Raw. They claimed that he'll be in New Orleans solely for WrestleCon and will leave right after the convention.
Misdirection is nothing new in the wrestling business, so anything regarding this situation has to be taken with a massive grain of salt. If Sting does come to WWE, it seems far more likely that his debut will occur on Raw rather than WrestleMania.
WWE probably feels as though it has enough big moments already scheduled for WrestleMania, especially if Bryan wins the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to close the show. Perhaps WWE will provide some sign of Sting's eventual debut at WrestleMania only for it to officially occur on Raw, but don't expect to see The Icon on Sunday.
