British Open TV Schedule 2013: Full Day 3 Viewing Info
If you haven't been paying attention to the action in Scotland during the first two days of the 2013 Open Championship, now is your chance to catch up.
As you can see by this tweet from the tournament's official account, the sun does set in Scotland at major championships. Lucky for us, it's coming back up on Saturday and more golf is coming with it:
Miguel Angel Jimenez (-3) was the leader after Friday's second round. Behind him, Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Lee Westwood and Henrik Stenson kept pace by finishing just one stroke back.

PGA Tour's Twitter account had this look at the Day 2 leaders at Muirfield Golf Links:
Day 1 leader Zach Johnson and feast-or-famine favorite Angel Cabrera headline a group of four golfers who finished at one under. Elsewhere, Phil Mickelson, Webb Simpson, Adam Scott and Bubba Watson—all previously winners at a major championship—are four strokes back at one over.
Teenage phenom Jordan Spieth is also in that mix, as is Ian Poulter. Hunter Mahan, Jason Day and Jamie Donaldson are the most notable golfers who are hovering in the middle of the pack, and as we've seen through two days of action, it's really anyone's tournament to win.
Only nine players finished under par through 36 holes. As ESPN's Justin Ray pointed out on Twitter, the real winner from the first two days at Muirfield was the Open course itself:
Saturday affords us the first chance to see how the field responds to the pressure of making it past the cut and the reality that a good round—or a bad one, for that matter—could completely change one's career.
Here's a complete look at the TV schedule, event information, tee times, pairings and a preview for the third round of action at the 142nd British Open.

Round 3 Tee Times, Preview
Jimenez will be in the final Saturday pairing with Stenson, but he'll be entering uncharted territory for the first time in his PGA Tour career.
As noted by ESPN's Stats & Info, Jimenez will be taking a 36-hole lead into the third round of a major for the first time:
That being said, all eyes will be on the pairing of the day with the best collective odds to win the championship—Tiger Woods and Lee Westwood.
Woods shot a 71 to stay at two under and just one stroke off the pace on Friday, but the demons of his previous failures at majors over the last five years and his third round at Muirfield in 2002 have to be weighing heavily before Round 3 begins.
Tiger shot an 81 during his third round the last time the Open Championship was in Scotland, and to this day, it is one of the darkest moments of his career. That 10-over moved him out of contention and denied him a chance to win a third straight major that season.
In the more immediate picture, Woods is still chasing his 15th career major and has been doing so since 2008. The fast course and hard greens are testing the entire field's ability to balance playing conservatively with knowing when to take the big shot. So far, Woods has been impressive in that regard.
We'll see if he continues his strong play on Saturday.
For Westwood, just winning one major would be nice. Since 2000, he's finished in the top five at a major a staggering nine times, yet he has no hardware to show for it. In all but two of those events, Westwood finished in the top three.
ESPN the Magazine asked a question on Twitter that everyone is looking forward to answering on Sunday:
Moving down the various pairings in the field, Poulter and Watson should provide some sparks. The pair squared off at the 2012 Ryder Cup and played together during the first two rounds of The Masters in April, so a level of familiarity will be there.
Phil Mickelson and Justin Leonard, who were Ryder Cup teammates several times during the early stages of their career, are another interesting pairing. Zach Johnson will be with surprise contender Rafael Cabrera-Bello, Scott will be paired with Charl Schwartzel and Ryan Moore will have the distinction of playing with two-time major champion Angel Cabrera.
Speaking of Cabrera, is anyone surprised he's in the hunt? Golf Channel's Jason Sobel isn't:
With only two wins in his PGA Tour career, surface-level research wouldn't reveal that Cabrera is a star. Hopefully this tweet from Ray at least opens your mind to the idea that he has a chance to join elite company with an Open win:
The sunny conditions in Scotland have made Muirfield a tough course this week.
Without the moisture on the greens and the fierce winds on every hole, the golfers are having a hard time balancing shooting the ball through the wind and having enough clout on the ball to make it sit where they need it to.
David Duval, who has plenty of room to talk after playing two rounds and finishing well under the cut at 13 over, has a few choice words for those who think major championships shouldn't be this tough:
No matter your thoughts on old-school golf versus high-scoring affairs, it's hard to argue that the thick rough, deep bunkers and precision it takes to survive this course have all helped steal the show away from the actual tournament field.
And at a major championship, Duval is right: You should have to figure out a way to outlast the nuances of the course if you want to win the title outright.
There's nothing like the weekend at a major. There's always something on the line that will live in golf lore forever, and surprises are lurking at every turn.
I won't even bother with a tournament prediction for the end of Day 3. Just like the field on Friday, that prediction would get chewed up and spit out by Muirfield.
Set your alarms early to find out which golfers will set themselves apart in pursuit of the Claret Jug.
