Dean Ambrose Will Win at WWE Money in the Bank
At this Sunday’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view, look for Dean Ambrose to emerge victorious in the World Heavyweight Championship Contract Match.
OK, so WWE’s booking team likes to swerve people and it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise if someone like Fandango were to dance his way to victory. But, for a few reasons, rising star Ambrose is the most likely winner of the seven-man ladder bout.
For one thing, Ambrose, who made his debut for the company at last year’s Survivor Series match, is the only competitor in the bout with any real credibility.

Takeaways From SNME 44 ➡️
Let’s have a look at the rest of the line-up.
Wade Barrett has been demoted to the B shows and largely been forgotten about.
Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow may make a great tag team, but they’ve both been on the receiving end of too many beatdowns from Sheamus to be remotely credible as championship contenders.
Fandango seems to have lost any momentum he once had and has turned into a lower-card comedy joke. It’s hard to believe this guy was once WWE's big project.
Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger are stuck in Zeb Colter’s “We the People” stable—a terrible storyline that is truly going nowhere—and, similar to Fandango, neither seem to have any momentum.
Really, Ambrose has been the only one of bunch to be booked credibly. Everyone else seems to have had their potential squandered.
As part of super-stable, The Shield, Ambrose, along with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, has garnered top wins over stars like John Cena, Randy Orton and Sheamus. He’s went toe-to-toe with The Undertaker and come out looking like a threat.
Whoever wins the title is—usually—guaranteed to have a run with the belt. Having been part of Raw’s main event scene for so long, fans will easily be able to buy Ambrose as World champion, which is more than can be said for anyone else on that list.
Ambrose is arguably the most talented guy on the list too.
Sure, everyone mentioned is a decent wrestler and has some modicum of potential, but do they have Ambrose’s charisma, overness or talking ability? Not really.
That's why the correct thing to do is have him win at the pay-per-view.
Granted nothing in wrestling is ever guaranteed.
And, as noted, it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise to see the company swerve everyone and go with a shock victor. But let’s hope the booking team has more sense than that.
Throughout his career Ambrose has often conjured up comparisons with Roddy Piper and the late Brian Pillman. His potential shines like a beacon to virtually everyone in the business, as well as its fans.
And if he is ever to live up to that hype, he needs to walk out on Sunday with the briefcase. There's no way around it.
