WWE Money in the Bank 2013: Date, Start Time, Matches, Live Stream and PPV Info
Money in the Bank quickly developed into one of the year's most intriguing shows. Two superstars earn a contract to get a shot at one of the main titles, which usually leads to a sustained push and, eventually, a championship reign.
Things are a little bit different this year, though. The WWE title match features a star-studded group of contenders, including the return of Rob Van Dam. The other match will showcase some rising stars. Most are still progressing up the proverbial ladder.
While those matches should steal the spotlight, there are a couple other key battles on tap. John Cena defends the WWE Championship against Mark Henry, and Dolph Ziggler attempts to get the World Heavyweight Championship back from Alberto Del Rio.

Main Event Preview and Prediction
Mark Henry deserves a lot of credit for his rise in recent weeks. Not only did he prove himself worthy of a main-event opportunity with the tremendous retirement angle, but he's become a viable contender to take control of the top belt.
Even if it doesn't sound like much on the surface, it's a big deal. Ryback never made it to that level during his major push, which is why he never became champion despite numerous chances. He made a big jump, but never enough to take down the likes of John Cena or CM Punk.
There's also something to be said for Henry deserving a chance to carry the WWE Championship. The longtime superstar has done just about everything else during his career. It's the one accomplishment that could finalize his resume.
That said, it's tough to think of a scenario where he wins clean and is able to retain the belt for more than 30 seconds. WWE has established that it requires a superhuman effort, and often underhanded tactics, to beat the face of the company.
So, even if Henry pulls off the rare feat and does become champion, the odds are good it will drain him to the point where the Money in the Bank winner is able to cash in immediately. Is that type of reign better than no reign at all? Not really.
Instead, the most plausible scenario is having a long match that results in a Cena victory. Henry will become outraged and continue the assault after the match. A couple World's Strongest Slams later and Cena will be laid out.
Then, either right away or after another beatdown on Raw, the Money in the Bank winner can cash in and become champion. It also allows Cena to drop the belt without looking weak and sets up a triple-threat match at SummerSlam.
Prediction: Cena
What They're Saying
The Usos are looking forward to their showdown with The Shield on Sunday night.
Meanwhile, Antonio Cesaro is one of the top contenders heading into the World Heavyweight title Money in the Bank match.
Undercard Matches to Watch: Money in the Bank Ladder Matches
The Money in the Bank match for the WWE Championship is seemingly a two-horse race between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. Although the match is filled with marquee names, those two have separated themselves from the pack.
CM Punk is on a collision course with Brock Lesnar, which limits the need for him to chase the WWE title right now. He'll get back in the picture down the road.
Sheamus hasn't been built like the company's top champion in recent months. He's stuck in one of those lulls where a superstar struggles to find a long-term storyline.
Rob Van Dam makes his return and eventually could find himself back in the main event scene. It would be a shock if the WWE gave him that type of immediate boost, though.
Christian will bring a lot to the match as a veteran worker. His presence will ensure there are some terrific spots, but he's not a legitimate threat to win the briefcase.
Finally, Kane is listed as doubtful (per WWE.com) after getting attacked by the Wyatt Family on Raw. He was never a serious contender to win the title opportunity.
So it comes down to Bryan and Orton. A case could be made for either superstar and it's really a coin flip between those two. Give the nod to Bryan given his strong run lately, especially in terms of crowd reaction.
On the World Heavyweight title side, the superstar that deserves the opportunity most is Dean Ambrose. He's stood out ever since The Shield debuted and has the feel of somebody who's going to become a key piece of the WWE's future.
He's already the United States champion, though. If that causes the creative team to go in another direction, Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow are the best options. Both are waiting on a push after toiling in the midcard lately.
The decision comes down to how much the WWE wants to showcase Ambrose. Ultimately, he's ready to take the next step and winning the briefcase would allow him to continue his progress.
Prediction: Bryan and Ambrose
Which Star Will WWE Bury? The Miz
The Miz was once a top heel. He held the WWE Championship and had the outside appeal necessary to become a top superstar. Now, he's struggling to find a storyline that can help elevate him back to that level after fading out of the main event.
It won't happen at Money in the Bank. Curtis Axel is being given a chance to showcase why he deserves more opportunities in the future. Beating an established talent like Miz to continue his Intercontinental title run is a significant part of that process.
Eventually, Miz should get another chance to move up the card. The most important thing is turning him back into a heel, which is his more natural role. It will probably take some time, however, given how crowded the active roster is right now.
Star Unaccounted For: Brock Lesnar
The impact Paul Heyman has on WWE programming is amazing. Lesnar can show up out of the blue, wage an attack and fade into the background again, leaving Heyman to take care of everything else in the meantime.
Lesnar's budding feud with CM Punk, another "Heyman Guy," is the latest example. Lesnar delivered an F-5 to Punk on Raw a couple weeks ago and hasn't returned since. Heyman has picked up the slack to start building the potential SummerSlam encounter.
Even though Lesnar isn't on the Money in the Bank card, don't be shocked if he makes an impact. He could arrive during Punk's match in order to ensure he doesn't win the briefcase. That would help build the storyline heading into the next PPV.
