Bella Rodriguez-Torres spent the majority of her 10 years on this planet under the microscope.

Diagnosed with a rare form of cancer known as Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma at the age of four, the South Florida girl's life was documented by her family in the social media realm that reached thousands of people on Facebook and hundreds on Twitter, per Barbara A. Besteni of Local10.com.

Through the Facebook page "Pray For Bella," the little girl's supporters were able to track her progress. Twitter supporters used the hashtag "LiveLikeBella" to let her know that they were thinking of her.

Her courageous battle against the disease came to a tragic ending this week, but the thoughts and prayers for this brave child haven't wavered.

Miami Heat superstars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have offered their own unique support for Rodriguez-Torres, etching "LiveLikeBella" on the sides of the shoes they wore for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals.

Life has a way of forcing us all to put things into proper perspective, and with moments like these we're reminded of the far-reaching effects of relief that the sports world has to offer.

The mourning process will be long and hard. The overwhelming sense of loss that Rodriguez-Torres' family and community are experiencing won't go away with this show of support from a pair of NBA superstars.

But there's a chance that a glimpse of their shoes, a flash of a simple message that carried so much meaning for so many people, will provide a moment of reprieve to people that badly need it right now.

For James and Wade, this is their way of letting that little girl know that her brave battle isn't forgotten.
