WWE WrestleMania 2013: Predicting 'Mania's Biggest Locks to Win
One of the best things about WrestleMania and the WWE in general is that anything can happen. That term is more relative than it is literal, of course, because while the WWE brass ultimately has the power to book things in any manner it pleases, some matches only have one correct outcome.
Many fans have called WrestleMania XXIX the most predictable 'Mania of all time. It's difficult to say whether or not that is accurate, but there is no question that several of the bouts seem fairly obvious in terms of the results. Nobody should put it past the WWE to do something shocking in order to swerve the fans; however, the writing is already on the wall in many cases.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Here are the three biggest locks to come away with a win at WrestleMania. Keep in mind, if you plan on placing a wager on any of the following superstars or teams, you'll have to put quite a bit of money down in order to get anything back, so proceed with caution.
John Cena
Ever since The Rock defeated John Cena at WrestleMania XXVIII last year, there has been talk about Cena getting his revenge. Lo and behold, Cena and The Rock will once again headline 'Mania this year, but the WWE Championship will be on the line, as The Rock is the current titleholder. Since The Rock is a part-time wrestler, it was always apparent that his title reign was only temporary, so the odds of him dropping the belt to Cena are quite good.
The WWE has been building the redemption angle ever since last WrestleMania and billed 2012 the worst year of Cena's life. While he did defeat Brock Lesnar and win Money in the Bank, Cena lost significantly more big matches than usual. Things have been much better for him already in 2013, though, as he won the Royal Rumble, finally beat CM Punk and enters WrestleMania with a ton of momentum.
There has been a lot of discussion about a potential heel turn since Cena's character has been much edgier over the past couple weeks, but that most likely isn't in the cards. Whether Cena does or doesn't turn, though, he is going to win. Cena is the company's top guy, but he hasn't had a WWE Championship reign in well over a year and a half, so the time has come to put the strap back on him.
The Undertaker
The Undertaker's WrestleMania streak is something that transcends the business and seems likely to live on forever. The Phenom is obviously nearing the end of the line, though, so he could decide to call it a career at any time and agree to let his 20-0 streak die as well. Even with so many uncertainties surrounding Taker's future as a wrestler, it is difficult to envision any scenario in which CM Punk defeats The Deadman and ends the streak at WrestleMania XXIX.
Punk has gotten the better of The Undertaker in most cases leading up to 'Mania as he has mocked the late Paul Bearer and stolen the urn. That doesn't necessarily guarantee that Punk is going to lose, but it's a point in Taker's favor. Also, with WrestleMania XXX set to take place in New Orleans next year, one has to believe that Taker will be a part of that. If the streak ultimately comes to an end this year, though, the intrigue surrounding his WrestleMania XXX match would be lessened significantly.
There are understandably a lot of Punk fans out there who would like to see him end the streak, but he doesn't really need the push. Even if Punk were to end it, he would be unable to surpass Cena on the depth chart. Punk is destined to be the No. 2 guy for good, and that isn't a slight against him whatsoever. If the streak ever ends, it should be in order to give somebody a much-needed rub. Taker's impressive run is safe for at least one more year.
The Shield
The Shield is no longer involved in the main-event scene, but Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns continue to be among the most entertaining superstars on WWE programming. While they used to help CM Punk retain his WWE Championship, their focus has diverted back to bringing justice to the WWE. In an effort to do that, The Shield has targeted the trio of Randy Orton, Sheamus and Big Show. While all three men have had issues in the past, they have come together in order to battle a common enemy in the form of The Shield.
Orton, Sheamus and Big Show have been on the same page for the past few weeks as they have managed to hold The Shield at bay. They will finally have an opportunity to get their hands on the destructive unit, but The Shield has yet to be beaten in a match. Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns are coming off a massive victory over the team of Sheamus, Ryback and John Cena at Elimination Chamber, so it wouldn't make sense for them to lose to a team of veterans at 'Mania.
It's difficult to say where The Shield will go moving forward, but it is important to keep the momentum rolling regardless. Something is bound to happen during the match in terms of a disagreement on the face side that will cause them to lose. The likeliest scenario would seem to include The Viper finally turning heel. No matter how it happens, though, The Shield has to win this match and it will ultimately come out on top when it's all said and done.
