In part two of the UEFA Champions League second leg matches, it was the two Premier League teams that emerged victorious.

Here is a round-up from the games in Portugal and England, where Manchester United went to the home of the Dragons, and Arsenal entertained the Yellow Submarine:

After being held 2-2 at Old Trafford, Manchester United out went to Portugal needing to win by just one goal at the Estádio do Dragão, in order to beat FC Porto and progress to the semi-final of the Champions League.

And win by just that one goal they did, with 2008 FIFA World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo scoring the game's one and only just goal six minutes into the match.

The Portuguese maestro rifled home a fantastic effort from fully 35-yards out; a shot that contained too much venom for Porto keeper Helton.

The goal meant that United had slain the "Dragons" 1-0 and 3-2 aggregate, while also meaning that Manchester United are now the first ever English team to win at the Estádio do Dragão, the home of the best team in Portgual.

It was a game witnessed by over 50,000 fans in Porto.

Gunners sink Spain's Yellow Submarine

In the other Champions League game, Arsenal ran out comfortable winners at the Emirates Stadium, beating La Liga outfit Villarreal CF 3-0 and 4-1 on aggregate.

El Submarino Amarillo (Villarreal's nickname, meaning The Yellow Submarine in English) had high hopes for tonight's match, despite being without key player and scorer in the first leg, Marcos Senna.

However, such optimism was soon eradicated, as England U-21 winger Theo Walcott put Arsenal ahead after just 10 minutes.

The youngster latched onto a fine pass from Emmanuel Eboue before chipping Villarreal keeper Diego Lopez to make it 1-0 to the home side.

It took 15 minutes into the second-half for the Gunners to make it 2-0, with Togo international Emmanuel Adebayor the man who doubled the home side's advantage.

The tall striker collected a Robin van Persie pass before sending his shot into the bottom corner with the outside of his boot and out of reach for Diego Lopez.

And on 69 minutes a double whammy ensued, as the night got worse for the Yellow Submarine, and better for the Gunners.

Villarreal conceded a penalty after a foul on winger Theo Walcott, with their midfielder Sebastian Eguren being sent off for protesting the decision too much.

After being involved in the second goal, Dutch forward Van Persie stepped up to take the spot-kick, and got his name on the scoresheet after smashing his kick powerfully into the corner.

A good night just got better for Arsenal with the score at 3-0 and their opponents down to ten men.

And that's the way it finished, with the Gunners gunning down the high-flying Yellow Submarine in front of a North London crowd of 58,233.

This now means that, just like the quarterfinal clash between Liverpool and Chelsea, there will be an all English clash in the semifinal of the UEFA Champions League.

Current European and world champions Manchester United will look to defend their crown, as they take on their Premier League rivals Arsenal.

Arsenal will be looking to win in an attempt to secure an FA Cup and Champions League double.

Manchester United will look for the win in their attempt to secure a famous, historic quintuple of major trophies.

Who will win? We'll find out on May 5th, 2009.

The first leg between these two sides is on 29 April, with Manchester United hosting Arsenal. The return leg is on May 5th, with Arsenal this time the hosts.
