DeSean Jackson Injury: Updates on Eagles WR's Leg
As if the Philadelphia Eagles needed anymore bad news, WR DeSean Jackson was taken to the locker room early in the fourth quarter against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Eagles are being manhandled at home by the undefeated Falcons 30-10, so seeing one of their best weapons limp off isn't a good sign.
Derrick Gunn of CSN Philly had the earliest tweet on the injury:

The Eagles may have dodged a bullet in this situation. ESPN's John Clayton tweeted this shortly after the original tweet from Gunn:
"knee and ankle were the injuries to DeSean Jackson, but it doesn't look serious.

Jackson has returned to the game, per Eagles Insider:
"DeSean Jackson suffered an ankle injury, but he returned to the game.

The Eagles caught a break with Jackson's return to the game. We'll have to see if there are any lingering affects.
We'll wait for the official word on Jackson after the game. The Eagles are already struggling this season at 3-3. They're seemingly headed for a 3-4 start; they can ill-afford to lose Jackson for any portion of the season.
The NFC East figures to be nip and tuck all year. Staying healthy is the least of what the Eagles must do to stay competitive in the division.
