Arsene Wenger, Cesc Fabregas To Leave Arsenal and Join Man. City or Real Madrid?
Breaking news emerging from North London today suggests that long-term Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is to leave the English club to move to either Spanish Champions Real Madrid or newly-rich Manchester City at the end of the season.
In an effort to make the news even more juicy, the ever reliable and truthful tabloids are certain that Gunners captain Cesc Fabregas will follow Wenger out the door.
A source close to a source suggests that the Frenchman is fed up with life at Arsenal and wants a new challenge.

In a quote I made up to justify my own means Le Boss said:
"I do not like having so much freedom at Arsenal. Of course, it is not nice to be in charge of a top club and have such job security.
It is especially frustrating at being able to implement my own style of play and bring in young players that are trained in my beliefs."
Wenger then did not go on to say:
"What is particularly annoying is that when a new Chief Executive was being chosen I had to take time out of my schedule to pick him.
I do not like having such a big say in how the club is operated."
In my imagination, the current Arsenal manager then lined out why Real Madrid or Manchester City would be the perfect place to start afresh:
"Basically I am half way through the future I have envisioned for Arsenal Football Club and now I am bored and think Real Madrid or Manchester City would be an exciting choice.
As is well documented I do not like to be frugal in my spending. I like to splash the cash and spend way over the odds for players.
What is very attractive about the Real Madrid job is the lack of job security. Fabio Capello tells me that if you win a league at Madrid you are almost certain to be fired.
That is my kind of club."
Although no quotes or reliable sources are available, it is easy to make up a story that Cesc Fabregas will follow Wenger to Madrid should that be the Frenchman's club of choice.
As a proud Catalan who came up through Barcelona's youth system and always spoke of his desire to return to his first club, it is easy to see why Fabregas would want to join Real Madrid.
No further news is available at this time, but a source of a source believes that David Pleat is to become new Arsenal manager with David Bentley lined up as a possible replacement for Fabregas.
