WWE News: Mick Foley Discusses the Allegations That He Has Heat with Triple H
In a recent Twitter posting, WWE legend Mick Foley seeks to squash the long-running rumors that there is tension between him and Triple H, as well as any claims that he is not currently happy in his role with the company.
Foley denies the frequent stories that he has problems with WWE's COO, and also notes that he is more than happy with his current role (Foley rarely appears on television, but is heavily utilized by the company in various outside-the-ring projects and promotional tours).
Foley writes:

"Can I clear up this rumor about me not getting along with Triple H?
Triple H is the man responsible for bringing me back to WWE. I am very happy in my role as WWE Ambassador, and have a variety of WWE projects due out in the next few months: a children's book, a set of cards that I did the writing for, and the WWE13 game that I am apparently featured prominently in. I am hoping to use the release of the book to become a much larger part of WWE's "Be A STAR" campaign.
"
Discussing last night's edition of Raw, Foley notes that he was not at all annoyed that the collection of Triple H's highlight videos frequently showed him being badly beaten by the COO in 1999 and 2000:
"There is no higher form of flattery for me than showing up on another WWE Superstar's highlight video. I was thrilled to be there three times for Triple H.

Bottom line: I'm happy. I'm part of the company I love, and I get to try things on my own. Thank you, Triple H, for bringing me back to WWE.
"
Despite Foley's lack of television time since returning to the company late last year, the former WWE Champion is certainly right to claim that the two parties still have a smooth relationship: in addition to his PR duties, WWE's official website recently promoted his latest book, a children's Christmas story featuring The Miz and a host of other WWE superstars.
Earlier this year, the WWE also worked with Foley on his long-running charity work with women's support group RAINN, promoting a prize raffle for WrestleMania XXVIII.
While many Foley fans may find his lack of TV time troubling, there remains a great deal of doubt over just what the company can do with aging star at this point. Especially at a time when many insist they should be building for the future instead of being nostalgic for the past.
Certainly, there doesn't have to be some elaborate conspiracy going on, or anyone backstage being out to get him. Working outside of the ring, Foley may have simply found his natural role with the company.
