There has been a lot happening on WWE’s flagship show as of late and with Night of Champions just three weeks away, things should certainly be heating up.
The company has gone over five points for this week’s episode, so let’s see what they have in store of the WWE Universe this week!

A Devious Diva: What’s Going Through the Mind of Eve Torres?
When John Laurinaitis was taken out of power, Eve Torres was left with nothing to do. Booker T would eventually be named as the general manager of SmackDown, so she lobbied to join his administration.
She was first passed over for Teddy Long, who became Booker’s senior advisor, and almost put to the side for Kaitlyn. Instead, a match was made between the two Divas, with the winner becoming Booker’s assistant. Eve would win the match, but Kaitlyn gained some revenge last week.
In a Divas battle royal to crown the No. 1 contender for the Divas Championship, Kaitlyn last eliminated Eve to receive a future shot at Layla’s title, presumably at Night of Champions. Eve didn’t look too happy about losing the match, but on SmackDown she seemed to have a change of heart.
After Layla defeated Alicia Fox, Kaitlyn would join her in the ring. Eve soon made her way out and raised both of the hands with a big smile on her face.
What does Eve Torres have planned? Will the assistant to the SmackDown general manager somehow get herself into the match?
Mr. Money in the Bank: What’s Next for Dolph Ziggler After His Win Over Chris Jericho?
After the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, Dolph Ziggler declared that Chris Jericho had lost his touch. Losing every PPV match since his return, Ziggler didn’t think Jericho couldn’t win the “big one” anymore.
A feud ensued and it brought the two superstars to the biggest event of the summer, SummerSlam. It was a hard fought battle, but Ziggler wasn’t able to take down Y2J, so Jericho proved to the Showoff and to any other doubters that he could still back up everything he says.
The next night on Raw things took a huge turn. Ziggler wanted a rematch, so general manager AJ Lee booked the match with some huge stipulations. If Ziggler lost the match, he’d have to give his Money in the Bank briefcase to Jericho, but if Y2J lost, then his WWE contract would be terminated.
Mr. Money in the Bank took out Jericho, thus forcing him out of the WWE.
Now that he’s finished with Chris Jericho, what’s next for Dolph Ziggler? This past Friday on SmackDown Ziggler was given an RKO by Randy Orton, so could he address that situation?
No, No, No: Daniel Bryan to be Sent to Anger Management
At the 1,000th episode of Raw, Daniel Bryan was left at the altar by new general manager AJ Lee. He would soon disown the popular “Yes” chants and order the WWE Universe to chant “No” instead. He even went as far as to rename his submission finisher from the Yes Lock to the No Lock.
Bryan would be evaluated by a doctor who determined that he had anger management issues and that brought Kane back into the mix. That led to a match at SummerSlam, which Bryan won with a small package.
Kane responded to the surprise loss by attacking Josh Matthews, so AJ punished both last week by putting them in a tag team match with people they’ve had problems with. Kane was put with Zack Ryder while Bryan teamed with his former WWE Pro, the Miz. Needless to say, the match didn’t go too well.
The Miz would walk out on Bryan after he knocked him off the apron, and after Bryan slapped Kane, the Big Red Monster attacked Ryder. In response to Bryan’s actions in that match, AJ has ordered him to attend anger management classes, which will begin this week.
How will Daniel Bryan’s classes go? Will he finally be able to calm down? What about Kane? His anger has been a hot topic after he attacked Josh Matthews, so will he end up in the class as well?
The Game Returns: Triple H to Address His Future with the WWE
After the Extreme Rules PPV, chief operating officer Triple H denied Brock Lesnar all of the changes he wanted to his contract. Lesnar would respond by breaking the Game’s arm, and he promptly quit the WWE after a statement from his representative, Paul Heyman.
Triple H would return at No Way Out in June and challenge Lesnar to a fight at SummerSlam, but Heyman would declare that his client wouldn’t be fighting anyone. The Game would respond by knocking Heyman out, and on the 1,000th episode of Raw, Heyman accepted the match for Lesnar after some persuading from both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
Triple H was soon joined by Shawn Michaels, who declared that he’d be in his corner at SummerSlam, but things took a turn for the worse when Lesnar broke the arm of the Heartbreak Kid.
At SummerSlam, the two superstars would go to war and it would end with Lesnar’s arm raised high and Triple H’s arm in a sling. Last week, Heyman declared Lesnar the new King of Kings, and Lesnar would once again quit the WWE.
Michaels would also have some words about the situation and he thought that the Game’s career just might be over. This week, he will return to address his career.
What will Triple H have to say? Is he retiring from in-ring action? What about his position of chief operating officer? Does he have the mental stability to continue that job?
The Quest for Respect: What’s Next for CM Punk and John Cena?
On the 1,000th episode of Raw, the Rock declared that he’d be receiving a shot at the WWE Championship in January at the Royal Rumble. WWE champion CM Punk would respond by taking the People’s Champion out with a GTS.
Jerry Lawler would state that Punk turned his back on the fans, but the following week, the champion said he didn’t turn his back on anyone. He was simply looking for respect as champion since the WWE Championship should be featured in the final segment every single week and should be main eventing every PPV, which is usually given to John Cena.
The disrespect would continue when general manager AJ Lee booked a triple threat match at SummerSlam between Punk, Cena and the Big Show. After a bit of controversy, Punk would retain the WWE Championship, but if you ask him, he retained it twice that night after being looked over for Triple H and Brock Lesnar.
Last week, Punk was given the opportunity to choose his own Night of Champions opponent and he chose Cena, but under one condition. He wanted the face of the WWE to call him the best in the world, and Cena refused to do so.
Punk responded by forcing an apology from Lawler for his comments a month ago and a kick to the back of his head.
CM Punk feels disrespected by everyone around him, so will there be another victim in his quest for it? Will John Cena get his title match at Night of Champions? How will Jerry Lawler respond to Punk’s actions?
With Night of Champions on the way, this could be the start of a very interesting and exciting fall season. Will it be? Tune in to find out!
