WWE Tag Teams: The Prime Time Players, JTG and Reigniting the Division
This past Sunday at SummerSlam, every championship in WWE was defended with the exception of the Divas, who were used as dancers during Kevin Rudolf's musical performance. Kofi Kingston and R-Truth were successful in defending the WWE Tag Team Championship against the Prime Time Players, something that personally came as a surprise.
Meanwhile, JTG recently unleashed a tirade on his Twitter account lamenting the lack of wrestling time for him as well as the rest of the wrestlers in WWE who are not the main focus on Raw and Smackdown.
The Prime Time Players also lost their manager Abraham Washington after his much-publicized remarks comparing Titus O'Neil to Kobe Bryant.

Early WM 43 Dream Predictions 🔮

Rising Stars Who Deserve Major Push 😤
A simple meeting of the minds could turn all of these negatives into one giant positive.
One night on Raw, the Prime Time Players could be shown backstage, conspiring about their continuing plans to make millions and millions of dollars. While dancing around, they (perhaps literally) bump into JTG, still mentally and physically sore after his "punishment" by Ryback. No more than one second's worth of tensity gives way to the open minds of Titus O'Neil and Darren Young, who tell JTG to walk with them as the show goes to commercial.
During the Prime Time Players' match later that night, JTG emerges from the back and saunters his way to ringside. Subdued at first, he eventually makes his presence known and joins the PTP in the ring, beating down their opponents and caring little for the disqualification ending.
This continues for a couple weeks until Kofi Kingston and R-Truth make the save against another team the PTP and JTG have been assaulting. At Night of Champions, with JTG distracting or even knocking out the referee, Titus O'Neil and Darren Young finally capture the gold that has been eluding them for months. Under the Freebird Rule, any combination of Titus O'Neil, Darren Young and JTG can defend the Tag Team Championships.
Behold: the birth of the Cryme Tyme Players.
Granted, that name may cause a rift between WWE and Shad Gaspard, who was one half of the original Cryme Tyme team with JTG that debuted in 2006. That being said, JTG was just as much a part of it, and Cryme Tyme Players has one hell of a ring to it. Three words for three members, all of them very capable tag team combatants who have the potential to completely dominate the division.
This solves many problems at once, the first being the lack of a mouthpiece. With three members, there will always be two in the ring and one on the outside to antagonize the referee as well as the audience. Second, it gives something for JTG to do instead of languishing backstage and hoping a spot opens up to wrestle a quick match on Superstars. Third, it opens the door for teams to get together and go after the newest force to be reckoned with in tag team wrestling.
Is this too far fetched an idea, or have I found gold? Please let me know in the comments, and thank you once again for reading!
