Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H: Rematch Would Destroy Epic SummerSlam Match
There is a feeling in the WWE that if something works, however slightly, you must keep going back to the well.
Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H was a good enough main event at SummerSlam, but if the WWE wants to return to that well one more time, it will ruin whatever momentum was built.
The idea of bringing Lesnar back was to increase business, at least on the shows he wrestled, and put together a few dream matches that most fans never thought possible.

It worked well when Lesnar and John Cena wrestled at Extreme Rules. That was a spectacular match with such a unique style that felt both special and different from anything you will see in the WWE today.
The next logical step was to put Lesnar in a match with an authority figure, since he was someone who came back to upset the established order. Triple H was the obvious choice, as everyone knew about his position of power.
We got a few months of sporadic build leading up to SummerSlam. The match itself was fine, with some strong storytelling from both superstars.
Lesnar destroyed Triple H's arm with the Kimura, which led to a WWE report that stated Triple H has a broken arm again. It was a good storyline to prove just how vicious Lesnar can be, but it is quite clear that the WWE is thinking rematch (PWInsider via NoDQ.com), which is bad for all involved.
The match was not a great spectacle that we just had to go back to. As stated before, it was a perfectly fine match between two legitimate stars.
Second, we all know how the WWE works with the 50-50 booking. If you book Lesnar and Triple H again, especially after Lesnar got such a dominant win, you know that Triple H is going to win the match.
Considering that Lesnar should be the drawing card, having him lose in a rematch—that shouldn't happen in the first place—would be idiotic.
Lesnar needs to move on to new things as a way to keep him fresh. Simply rehashing a feud that wasn't very good to begin with does nothing for him, Triple H or the WWE. SummerSlam was as good as it needed to be, but it should be the end of anything involving Lesnar and Triple H.
