Brock Lesnar: Don't Expect Superstar's Retirement to Last Long
On the heels of his big SummerSlam win over Triple H, Brock Lesnar stunned the wrestling world by announcing his retirement, but don't worry Lesnar fans, this retirement will prove to be nothing but a ruse to add some extra drama for an upcoming pay-per-view event.
Lesnar made the announcement with a short video posted on Paul Heyman's Tout account.
There are a few reasons to doubt this announcement, but let's start with the announcement itself. Lesnar has never been the greatest actor, which makes it all the more obvious when he is acting.

This announcement comes off as anything but natural, and the language doesn't track with someone who is being sincere.
"There's nothing left for me to conquer," Lesnar says as if he has been in the WWE for 20 years and won countless belts.
Given his light list of WWE accomplishments, it is hard to fathom him saying that with a straight face if he was being honest.
Lesnar ends the video by saying, "and I'm never coming back." Now why would he feel the need to phrase it this way if he was not trying to build up some drama for his inevitable return.
The WWE has taken great care to ensure they build up Lesnar with a menacing and mysterious presence despite the fact he has remained a part-time player. So it only makes sense that that plan would include Lesnar making a quick, yet seemingly definitive retirement announcement.
Given his part-time status, it does not make sense to have him win a title. This can make his ventures in the ring tough to build up as a big-time event.
Now the WWE is set up to do something dramatic enough to draw Lesnar back to the ring to seek some vengeance. This will build the hype for the match that ensues, and it is the perfect platform for a non-title match to hold its own in a pay-per-view event.
