Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H: Rematch Must Follow to Remove Asterisk
Give Triple H a break.
Fans are making a big deal about him tapping out to Brock Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam 2012, but hello, the dude had a busted arm and Lesnar was using it as a punching bag.
While Lesnar deserves credit for his triumph in the dream match, there needs to be a rematch. Until that happens, there will be a nice, fat asterisk next to this outcome.

In their only one-on-one bout, Lesnar simply took advantage of Triple H’s handicap.
Lesnar downright dominated Sunday’s showdown. He had control of the match to the point that he had the freedom to toy with Triple H instead of finishing him off early.
Of course, that allowed Triple H to get several effective shots in on Lesnar. At one point, the former UFC fighter looked like he was going to blow chunks after Triple H flung him and his gut into the edge of a table.
While Triple H managed to inflict plenty of pain on Lesnar, he never really had much of a shot in the match because of his arm. Lesnar continually wailed on it during the match, and he made Triple H tap out with his Kimura Lock, which is the same move that broke his arm in the first place.
Despite Triple H’s disadvantage, he still put on a show.
WWE announcer Jim Ross tweeted of the fight’s awe factor:
"HHH-Lesnar was an announcer's dream. Great story. Loved it.

If Triple H competed despite a broken arm, just imagine what he’d be able to do with a fully healthy one. In fact, I’d go as far as to say he would have defeated Lesnar if his arm had not been injured.
While Triple H went into the match with a no-excuse attitude—asking the referee not to call any disqualifications—he definitely has a justifiable excuse for a rematch.
Just wait until that arm heals. Revenge would be more than likely.
