Arsenal Have Got Champions League Covered...If They Avoid an English Team
After a dominant display over Italian side AS Roma, Arsenal look set to advance through to the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
Arsenal dominated attack and defence and always looked dangerous. Their only fault was their poor shooting and finishing in the box, but that should be patched up by the return of Eduardo and Emmanuel Adebayor.
You would expect Arsenal to hold onto their slim lead despite the final leg of the round of 16 being held in Rome.

It's unclear who Arsenal will take on in the quarterfinals, but I feel as long as Wenger's men can avoid any of the three English teams—Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool—until hopefully the Final (semis would not be too bad), they have a strong chance of capturing their first Champions League trophy.
Arsene Wenger commented that his boys were more excited about the Champions League because they don't wait for them to attack. Arsenal have struggled in the Premier League this season, and one of the main reasons is that they have been unable to play their best style of play: quick passing and movement.
The Italian and Spanish sides will certainly play a different style of football than the English teams.
It will no doubt lack the physicality and suit Arsenal much better, allowing them to play the football they want and dominate possession.
Arsenal will also gain momentum thanks to the return of key players. Captain and midfield maestro Cesc Fabregas is set to return to first team action in four weeks, Theo Walcott is a maybe for the second leg against Roma and Tomas Rosicky is due back in six weeks.
All three will boost the midfield to a near-incredible level. It will also mean Alexandre Song and Denilson are unable to fulfill the midfielding roles, a huge bonus.
With Nasri being so damaging as he is on the left and Diaby holding the defence up in the center midfield whilst Cesc Fabregas dominates the attack and Theo Walcott bursting down the right with his immense pace, Arsenal's midfield will surely fly away.
It's simple: as long as Arsenal avoid a English team in the quarters, they should have no problem in getting to the semis.
