WWE SummerSlam 2012: 5 Reasons Why Brock Lesnar Will Topple Triple H
One of the biggest matches of SummerSlam this Sunday will be Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H. The Game might seem like a worthy competitor for Lesnar, but in the end, Lesnar will topple Triple H.
Since his return to the WWE, we have only seen Lesnar in one match, a match that he lost at Extreme Rules to John Cena.
Still, Lesnar showed how much of a threat he could be, and in no way should we under estimate Lesnar as we move into SummerSlam.
How will The Game be able to stop this former WWE and UFC champion? Lesnar has already "broken" Triple H's arm, and after last Monday's RAW, it seems as though he might have done the same thing to Shawn Michaels.
Paul Heyman will also be in Lesnar's corner at SummerSlam, making the Beast even more deadly.
This match will more than likely end up being one of the best of the night, but in the end, Lesnar will be the winner.
Here are five reason why Brock Lesnar will topple Triple H.
1. Physical Advantage over Triple H
1 of 5It seems as though Triple H has forgotten just who he is stepping in the ring with at SummerSlam.
Yes, Lesnar did lose to Cena at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view, but Cena was still beat to a pulp. Now the Game wants to try his luck against Lesnar, but before this match even starts, Triple H is at a disadvantage.
Lesnar physically outmatches the Game. Let's not forget he was the UFC champion, after all. He's faster and stronger than Triple H, and he has already proven he's extremely dangerous. Lesnar has attacked both Triple H and Shawn Micheals in the ring and has left them lying on the mat.
Now Triple H wants to go toe to toe with Brock Lesnar, which will end up being a mistake for the Game in the end.
The last match we saw Triple H in was at WrestleMania 28, against a 47-year-old Undertaker. The Game would lose that match, even with Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee.
It seems as though with Lesnar's loss to Cena at Extreme Rules, everyone in the WWE has forgotten how dangerous Lesnar can really be. He is not an average wrestler, something that Triple H will find out on Sunday.
Lesnar physically outmatches the Game, which, in the end, will be one of the biggest reasons why he will topple Triple H.
2. Paul Heyman
2 of 5With this match focusing around Triple H and Brock Lesnar, it's easy to see how Paul Heyman might get overlooked.
The numbers game will catch up to Triple H by the end of this match.
Heyman has just as much riding on this match as Lesnar and Triple H do. If Lesnar does lose, his threats of lawsuits would be for nothing. Triple H has also thrown Heyman around the ring, and even Stephanie has come out to give Heyman a beatdown.
Will he sit idly by if Lesnar is in trouble? Probably not, and it could end up being a big reason why Triple H loses this match.
Lesnar himself is dangerous. Add in the distractions that Heyman can cause and the threat level goes up even higher.
Triple H might have been on some even playing ground when he entered this match originally, but now that Shawn Michaels won't be at ringside, Triple H has even more to worry about.
Don't expect Heyman to sit by and not do anything if it looks like Triple H is getting the advantage in this match on Sunday.
With all the embarrassment The Game and his wife have caused Paul Heyman, expect him to get his revenge at SummerSlam.
3. Sets Him Up to Be a Monster Heel
3 of 5What better way to push Brock Lesnar as a monster heel than to have him take out two of the most popular wrestlers in WWE history.
We already saw Lesnar deal with HBK on Monday and how he potentially took him out of the SummerSlam picture.
Now, it's time for Lesnar to do the same thing to Triple H. Lesnar has already broken the Game's arm, but now he needs to take him out of commission for a while.
When Lesnar first returned, it looked like he was going to be a powerhouse, someone who wouldn't be stopped. Then Extreme Rules happened and John Cena pinned Lesnar. The idea of Brock being a beast would begin to fade.
Sure, he would break Triple H's arm the RAW after Extreme Rules, but Lesnar would disappear for a while and shift any momentum he had in the WWE to Paul Heyman.
Now that Lesnar's back, the only way to fully utilize him as a heel on his limited schedule would be for the Beast to beat Triple H.
A win over the Game would help push Lesnar as a monster heel. Who would be able to stop The Beast if the game failed to do so? Cena seems entangled with Punk for the Championship, so other top wrestlers could try and take center stage by going against Lesnar.
If Lesnar proves that he is extremely dominant by beating Triple H, it would set him up as a monster heel, something the WWE desperately needs.
4. If Triple H Wins, Lesnar's Return Will Be Pointless
4 of 5Triple H cannot win this match. What would be the point? The Game comes and goes as he pleases, and while he competes at the big events to bring in even more pay-per-view buys, his main role is behind the scenes now.
Lesnar, on the other hand, has been brought in on his limited schedule to wrestle. Having him lose his second match of the year, after already losing to John Cena at Extreme Rules, would be pointless.
Why would Lesnar need to lose to Triple H? Would that even benefit anyone? Cena taking a beating and still winning at Extreme Rules may have helped him get over with more fans, but what would a win do for Triple H?
Lesnar winning would set him up for a heel run, but if he loses, what was the point of his return?
Will we continue to see Lesnar hyped up as some type of monster just to lose to the top talent of the WWE?
Who benefits from that in the end?
Lesnar will beat Triple H at SummerSlam, because if he doesn't, why did the WWE bother to bring him back in the first place?
5. WrestleMania 29
5 of 5The possibility that we might know who the Undertaker's WrestleMania 29 opponent is at the end of SummerSlam, gives Lesnar more of a reason to be the winner when this match is over.
With Taker's limited schedule, and Lesnar himself on a limited return, these two colliding at WrestleMania 29 would be a perfect fit.
Who else would the Undertaker face moving closer to April? Lesnar beating Triple H would make the most sense if the WWE plans to set up Taker's opponent for WrestleMania 29 at SumerSlam.
There has also been talk of the Undertaker not appearing at WrestleMania 29. It could always be the Undertaker's way of not trying to spoil anything for WrestleMania. WrestleMania without the Undertaker doesn't seem like a reality, so bet on the Deadman's appearance in April.
It would only make sense, then, for Lesnar to face Taker at WrestleMania 29. Both would have defeated Triple H, and if the Deadman is looking for a tougher opponent, Lesnar is his solution.
Triple H won’t be able to overcome Brock Lesnar in the end. With Lesnar's physical abilities, Paul Heyman at ringside, the WWE needing a monster heel, Lesnar needing the win to justify his return and the possibility that we will find out who the Undertaker's WrestleMania 29 opponent is, Triple H has no chance to win this match in the end.
The Beast will outplay The Game, and walk away from their match on Sunday as the winner.
