WWE SummerSlam 2012: Bold Predictions for Highly Anticipated PPV
WWE's SummerSlam 2012 will certainly live up to the massive expectations created by the previous 24 editions.
There are plenty of tantalizing showdowns to watch and a plethora of rich story lines to follow along the way. Brock Lesnar, John Cena and Chris Jericho are just some of the big names that will be in action in Los Angeles this Sunday night.
That being said, let's get to it.

Here we dive into some bold predictions for this summer's highly anticipated pay-per-view.
Brock Lesnar Triumphs Over Triple H
After a respectable stint in the UFC, Brock Lesnar is back to set Triple H straight. Triple H will be accompanied at SummerSlam by Shawn Michaels, who is sure to somehow involve himself in the chaos inside the ring after Lesnar's brutal attack on RAW more than a week back.
I like Lesnar's shot at crushing Triple H, especially if he is going to be around for any length of time. The WWE has been promoting Lesnar and SummerSlam as if the latter depended on the former. With that being said, I'll take Lesnar to overcome Triple H and The Heartbreak Kid.
"The Perfect Storm" will be a unique experience for WWE fans regardless of how it turns out, but Triple H's position as the WWE COO gives him plenty to fall back on if Lesnar triumphs.
John Cena Over CM Punk, Big Show For WWE Title
Sunday's triple threat match between CM Punk, Big Show and John Cena promises to steal the show at SummerSlam 2012, but Cena will be the biggest winner of all, defeating his two opponents en route to the WWE Championship.
Ever since Punk turned heel with his destruction of Rock on RAW 1,000, the momentum has been on Cena's side. I for one can't see this triple-threat title match shaping up any other way. Big Show is way past his prime, and though deserving of the title, he is just not a worthy holder at this point in his career.
The final moments will undoubtedly come down to Cena and Punk, with Cena taking the match and the belt. This match has tons of potential and is sure to entertain, but it seems extremely predictable after Punk's sudden turn.
Dolph Ziggler Will Overcome Chris Jericho
The singles match between Dolph Ziggler and Chris Jericho promises to be the most thrilling event at SummerSlam 2012. Ziggler and Jericho are hated rivals and both boast larger-than-life personalities, which will make for flawless pay-per-view television.
Give me Ziggler in this matchup though. He has much more long-term potential than Jericho, who has battled inside the ring for multiple decades now and should be the more dominant presence at Staples Center on Sunday night.
For as great as Jericho has been over his lengthy career, Ziggler is the bigger star and therefore will walk away with bragging rights this weekend. He may not put on the show that Jericho will, but that won't change the outcome.
