Chelsea Transfer News: Victor Moses Would Cure What Ails Blues' Attack
The Blues are still building their club as the season approaches and may be landing an essential piece of the puzzle extremely soon.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the club is on the verge of landing 21-year-old midfielder Victor Moses:
"Chelsea moved a step closer to landing £10m target Victor Moses yesterday after Wigan completed the loan signing of Arsenal’s Ryo Miyaichi to replace him on the right wing.

The discussions have been going on for quite some time, but it appears as if the deal will be finalized in the next few days.
Moses is a young talent who already has 36 Premier League appearances under his belt, with six goals, one assist and an 81-percent success rate on passes.
It’s not eye-popping, but he continues to improve, Moses would be the perfect fit for a Blues team short on players with the speed and athleticism of Moses.
He is beginning to become a reliable player who has a rather distinct style. Moses likes to possess the ball and cut inside, which leads to lots of fouls on the opposition. While this makes him susceptible to injuries, you have to like his aggressiveness and willingness to sacrifice his body.
What would his role be with the Blues?
While he has played the majority of his career as a midfielder on the right side, whoscored.com gives him his highest rating (7.52) as a midfielder playing on the left side. He has only a 6.56 rating in his typical position.
With Juan Mata and Eden Hazard already patrolling the middle of the pitch, landing a guy like Moses on the left side would be the perfect way to cap of the offseason. Odds are he would start off on the right side, but I foresee an eventual switch to the opposite end. Part of that prediction hinges on how Ramires and Frank Lampard play.
Regardless, Moses is a necessary addition who can potentially help Chelsea this season, and for plenty more after that. You need depth for the long and grueling season, and that’s exactly what Moses would provide for Chelsea.
The Blues are a strong team as currently constructed, but landing Moses would put them over the top.
