Athletes to Watch
Usain Bolt, Track and Field, Jamaica
After capturing gold in the men's 100-meter and 200-meter this summer, the world's fastest man will be part of Jamaica's team in the 4X100-meter relay in Saturday's final.
The United States, which boasts Justin Gatlin and Tyson Gay (third and fourth place respectively in the men's 100-meter), figures to be Jamaica's greatest challenger.
But don't expect Bolt and fellow teammate Yohan Blake to make things easy on the Americans.
"The Lightning Bolt" is going for his sixth Olympic gold medal on Saturday.
Zou Shiming, Boxing, China
Zou Shiming is the defending Olympic champion in the men's light flyweight division and is coming off a narrow victory over Ireland's Paddy Barnes.
The 31-year-old has two medals in his Olympics career and he's done a lot of damage since the 2008 Beijing Olympics, capturing gold in the 2010 Asian Games and 2011 World Amateur Championships.
Shiming has a good chance of grabbing another gold for China in the 2012 London Olympics.
Yevgeniya Kanayeva, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Russia
To say Yevgeniya Kanayeva is a star would be an understatement.
The 22-year-old is not only the reigning Olympic champion in the rhythmic gymnastics individual all-around, she owns 17 gold medals in the World Championships and 13 gold medals in the European Championships dating back to 2007.
Kanayeva is widely considered to be the clear-cut favorite in the final.
