Roger Federer has moved into the gold medal to take on hometown hero Andy Murray in a rematch of Wimbledon 2012. This one may come down to which one of these great players wants it more.
Federer is chasing the elusive single’s gold that he wants to add to his accomplishments and this may be the last time to get it for the 30-year-old Swiss player.
Murray, on the other hand, has vengeance on his mind and the pressure of winning in front of his home nation riding on his shoulders.
Will Murray’s desire for revenge and national pride be enough to propel him over Federer?
Women’s Gymnastics: Vault, Finals
Defending World Champion McKayla Maroney vs. the field

All McKayla Maroney needs to do is not mess up too bad, and the gold medal is a lock for the American gymnast. Her level of difficulty and mastery of the vault competition is like none other in the sport and will be incredible to watch on Sunday.

No matter who makes it to the football finals, there is going to be excitement around the world. The heavily favorite Spanish team has already been eliminated and it will be up to the remaining field to capture the attention of the world.
Will it be Mexico and its staunch defense, or Brazil and its star power and history who win the 2012 soccer gold?
Men’s Basketball: Gold Medal Game

Coming into the Olympics, the professionally stacked Team USA was the heavy favorite to dominate the men’s basketball competition, as they usually do. In an August 2 preliminary, the team set the all-time scoring record in Olympic basketball history.
A scare on August 4 to Lithuania has tempered expectations that the Americans can just waltz into the gold medal game and take the gold uncontested. Who will it be, though, who can usurp the reigning Olympic champions?
Argentina, Spain and Brazil were supposed to have the best chance due to their crop of NBA players on their roster. However, all three teams have struggled and nothing looks certain at this point.
