Counting Down 50 Greatest Wrestlers All Time with WWE '12 & Other Games (30-21)
Here we are at the third installment of the 50 Greatest Wrestlers of All-Time series. I definitely received some spirited feedback in regard to where Kurt Angle and the great Bruno Sammartino were placed.
I am in no way trying to diminish either of these two greats impact on professional wrestling. Being placed in the top 50 is really high praise, considering how many men have stepped inside the ring.
Sammartino's long run as champion was mentioned as a mark of his greatness.

While I do acknowledge that as a amazing feat, we can't use a title run from a different era as a validation for top ten status alone. We'd have to ask ourselves this question:
Would Bruno Sammartino have been a star in another era of professional wrestling? We certainly can't truthfully say yes to that question.
Kurt Angle was a more difficult superstar to leave at No. 34. Angle was great in the ring, decent on the mic, but I hated his gimmick initially. He became more tolerable after he began to shed some of the Olympic medalist persona.
It's always going to be a part of what puts him over, but at first I believe it overshadowed how talented he was and is.
When we're talking about top 50, there are very small things that differentiate the best, and in the end, you can't please everyone.
I may be in the line of fire yet again with this set of 10. Randy Orton is obviously included, but where? Watch the video to find out.
