David Moyes Targets UCL Spot for Everton, But Reckons Aston Villa Will Get It
David Moyes has said his Everton side will be going all out to clinch a UEFA Champions League spot this season, as he has seen his team improve in recent weeks and climb up to sixth in the Premier League table.
Talking to Skysports.com, Moyes said, "We will keep going for a Champions League place, at the moment we have a lot of points to catch up.
"We aim to continue our good run and hope that teams above us drop points. If we keep this form going until the end of the season, who knows?"

That all seems well and good and you would think Everton believe they really can clinch fourth spot this season, which is usually a sure way to success.
However, the Toffees boss then admitted the truth, saying, "It looks like Aston Villa will be the team to break into the top four this season, if that is going to happen."
Not Everton then?
With Chelsea playing poorly and down in fourth and Arsenal even worse in fifth, surely the blue half of Merseyside have some sort of belief they will actually break into the top four this season?
It appears not according to Moyes; yet again the psychological advantage is with the mighty Aston Villa, who is looking rather impressive up in third and is starting to look odds on for a top four finish, most likely at the expense of Arsenal.
If Everton want to show they can break into the top four, then they have to beat the top four and Sunday's FA Cup clash with the team currently in third, yes that's right, Aston Villa, will be crucial if the Toffees are to show what they're truly made of.
Ahead of this eagerly anticipated fifth round tie at Goodison Park, Moyes again heaped praise on the Villans.
He said, "Villa have great pace, they are a great counter-attacking side and deliver a lot of crosses into the box. They have an attacking edge with the players they have.”
"They now have Emile Heskey and John Carew and they are a very well balanced side and could finish in a Champions League spot."
Don't worry Everton fans, Moyes still cares about his team and said of his players, "our lads have been playing really well, they are resilient, they are in outstanding form."
So, not all gloom and doom; Moyes has recognised his players can play well, too.
The Everton players may be in "outstanding form" at the moment, but will they be outstanding enough to win against Aston Villa?
