Euro 2012 Results: Squads Who Will Build off Strong Showings
They say the only thing that matters is a team's next game, but that's not always true.
Momentum and confidence are huge factors in sports, specifically football, and specifically in a major tournament such as the 2012 European Championship.
There are a few teams in the tournament that are looking to build off victories in their previous matches and put on another strong showing.

Here are three teams that will be able to do that.
Spain (4-0 win over Ireland)
The Spanish ransacked an inferior Republic of Ireland side by the score of 4-0. Vicente del Bosque's side got a a pair of goals from Fernando Torres, and one each from David Silva and Cesc Fabregas.
There were plenty of people questioning whether Spain was the same juggernaut it had proved itself to be in the 2008 European Championship and the 2010 World Cup. Spain answered those critics and toned them down for the time being with an overwhelming victory over the Irish.
Ireland isn't what you would call a football powerhouse, or anywhere near that, but Spain did exactly what it was supposed to do. It had possession for 66 percent of the time and registered 24 attempts on target to Ireland's four.
It was a total drubbing by La Roja, and they finally got Torres going, something that we hadn't seen for quite some time. You'll seldom see the Spaniards lose when they have Torres, Silva and Fabregas playing at their best.
England (3-2 win over Sweden)
What an uplifting victory this was for the Three Lions in the face of sure and demoralizing disappointment.
England headed into the break with a 1-0 lead thanks to Andy Carroll before Sweden evened the score by way of a Glen Johnson own goal. Olof Mellberg played a hand in the equalizer, then notched a tally of his own in the 59th minute to give his team a 2-1 lead.
England didn't roll over, though. Theo Walcott evened things up for the English in the 64th minute, then found Danny Welback, who used a nifty back heel deflection to score the deciding goal.
Roy Hodgson's side now sits tied with France atop Group D. They've gotten to this position without their best striker, Wayne Rooney, who will return for his team's last match of group play against Ukraine.
Rooney and company need only a draw to advance to the knockout stage. If they were able to put themselves in prime position without their longtime star, they'll be all the more effective when he returns.
France (2-0 win over Ukraine)
Les Bleus were able to get their first win of the 2012 European Championships against Ukraine in a hostile environment in Donetsk.
Laurent Blanc watched from the sideline as his team played relatively even with their opponent for the majority of the game before jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the second half.
Two goals in three minutes from Jeremy Menez and Yohan Cabaye in the 53rd and 56th minutes, respectively, were all the French needed to give themselves a great chance to move on to the knockout stage of the competition.
Fortunately for them, they play an eliminated Sweden team that isn't likely to have much pep in its step after losing a tough match to England on Friday.
Only a draw is necessary to get out of the group stage, which shouldn't be that hard because the French are unbeaten in their last 23 matches.
