El Salvador vs Mexico: Bold Predictions for World Cup Qualifier
Mexico and the United States are clearly at the top of the CONCACAF class, but Mexico will continue to prove it's head and shoulders above the Americans as it rolls through Group B of World Cup qualifying.
The Mexicans got out to an early lead in the group last Friday when they easily handled Guyana by a score of 3-1, while their upcoming opponent, El Salvador, drew with Costa Rica.
Let's take a further look at what to expect from this second match of group play, which takes place Tuesday night at 9:30 p.m. EST.

Giovani dos Santos Continues his Dominance
The young Mexican continued his Jekyll and Hyde act with a brilliant performance on Friday. Dos Santos was barely able to see the field this season with Tottenham, but he remains to be Mexico's best player, and that includes Javier Hernandez.
After scoring a goal against Brazil in Mexico's big friendly win, dos Santos has now scored three goals in his last three international appearances, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him continue that streak against El Salvador.
But not only will dos Santos score, he'll continue to guide Mexico's offensive orchestra.
Chicharito Nets a Hat Trick
Javier Hernandez was active against Guyana and always around the ball in the attacking half, but he just couldn't find the back of the net.
Still, the young Manchester United star scored against both Brazil and Bosnia, and you know he's going to get plenty of opportunities around the box. One of these times, against an inferior opponent, the talented striker is going to take advantage in a very big way.
Expect this to be that game.
Mexico Concedes
El Tri may have beaten Guyana, but they weren't as solid as they needed to be, especially in the back.
Just ask Hector Alfredo Moreno, who was responsible for an atrocious own goal.
The Mexicans were able to hold the clean sheet against Brazil, but they will have to return to that form if they want to keep El Salvador off the scoreboard.
Don't be shocked if the Mexicans score a few goals and once again relax in the back and allow one or two of El Salvador's shots to find the back of the net.
