Mexico vs. Guyana: Chicharito and Stars Who Will Lead El Tri to Qualifying Win
Fresh off an impressive win over Brazil in an international friendly, Mexico will enter World Cup qualifying with a ton of momentum on their side.
The Mexicans will face an overmatched Guyana squad on Friday, although no team should be taken lightly when there is so much on the line. Even so, El Tri will have a major talent advantage.
There is no doubt that a Guyana win would be considered one of the biggest soccer upsets in recent memory, but Mexico's players will still have to show up and play hard.

The Mexicans don't only have to defeat Guyana, but they have to dismantle them because that is what they are expected to do. If they don't, then it could hurt their confidence moving forward.
Here are three key players who are bound to perform well for Mexico in what figures to be an easy qualifying victory.
Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez
Considered one of the best offensive players in the world, Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez is Mexico's unquestioned star.
The 24-year-old striker is a huge weapon for Manchester United as he netted 21 total goals across all competitions for the squad this past season. He also has two goals in two games for Mexico this year, including a big marker against Brazil.
Chicharito has so much speed and skill that it is difficult for even the best teams to contain him.
Guyana is far from the best team, though, and they clearly lack the athletes to keep Chicharito in check.
Even if Guyana focuses all of their defensive attention on Chicharito, he will more than likely score a goal. The odds are that he'll probably beat the Guyana goalkeeper a couple of times.
Jose de Jesus Corona
He may not be viewed as an elite player at his position, but goalkeeper Jose de Jesus Corona has done a nice job for Mexico.
He likely cemented his status as Mexico's No. 1 netminder when he registered a clean sheet against high-flying Brazil.
Corona has conceded just one goal in three matches total this year and he figures to be Mexico's best option moving forward.
With Mexico's offensive attack certain to be out in full force, Corona may not face many shots from Guyana on Friday.
He'll still have to be sharp, though, because allowing even one goal could give the tiny nation some hope. Also, another shutout would only help Corona's case as Mexico's top goalie moving forward, so he'll certainly be looking to get another one.
Giovani dos Santos
If Chicharito is Batman for the Mexican team, then Giovani dos Santos could accurately be described as Robin.
The 23-year-old star hasn't exactly taken off at Tottenham Hotspur, but he has long been a dominant force for the Mexican national team.
The skilled forward has two international goals for Mexico this year and he combines with Chicharito to create a very formidable duo up top.
Even if Guyana is somehow able to frustrate Chicharito on Friday, they will still have to contend with Dos Santos.
Dos Santos will be a key player for Mexico throughout World Cup qualifying, particularly when El Tri plays some higher-quality teams. Dos Santos would be wise to impose his will against Guyana, though, because he will have an opportunity to score multiple goals.
