College Football Recruiting 2013: The Top Remaining Target for Each Pac-12 Team

Edwin WeathersbyJun 7, 2018

After recently looking over the SEC and surveying each program's top remaining recruiting target, I'm going west for this read.

I'm examining the Pac-12 and giving each school's top target on their board right now. Schools dish out a ton of offers, but I really want to give you the top guy that they realistically have a shot at. So come inside and let's take a look at some Pac-12 recruiting digs for this one.

Here we go.

Washington State

1 of 12

Top Target: Tyler Bruggman, QB

Bruggman is a 6'2", 200-pound QB that Wazzu is after. The 4-star QB from Phoenix doesn't seem to get rattled, as his on-field demeanor is calm and cool.

He won't wow you with arm strength or speed, but he'll make good decisions, know where to go with the football and get your offense in the right play. Look out for Arizona State, too.

Washington

2 of 12

Top Target: Darrell Daniels, WR

The Huskies really dig the 6'3", 210-pound Daniels, as many other programs do, too. He's a big-time WR prospect with excellent size and great speed.

Daniels can boost for the ball in flight, high point it, come down and terrorize a defense as a RAC player.

Utah

3 of 12

Top Target: Tyler Foreman, S

Foreman is a 6'2", 190-pound safety from the Los Angeles area. He holds many offers, yet the Utes are a school that just offered him and are gunning hard for him.

Foreman has seen his profile expand this spring with good performances at various camps and combines. He's a good athlete who is not afraid to attack the line and is a very productive tackler.

USC

4 of 12

Top Target: Su'a Cravens, ATH

Cravens is the Trojans' top target right now, but we all know that perhaps anybody could be here for USC.

One of the most versatile prospects in the nation, the 6'1", 205-pound Cravens excels best as a safety or OLB. He has excellent instincts, speed and agility. His decision will likely be announced next week.

UCLA

5 of 12

Top Target: Tahaan Goodman, S

Goodman is one of the best overall players in America this year. He's an excellent safety prospect who just can do it all.

At 6'2", 190 pounds, he can play either SS or FS and is athletic and fast enough to play CB. Goodman is a big hitter who also flashes great range, ball skills and coverage awareness.

Stanford

6 of 12

Top Target: Peter Kalambayi, LB

Hailing from North Carolina, Kalambayi is a prospect who really values academics along with punishing ball-carriers. A 6'2", 235-pound ILB prospect, Kalambayi is a physical player who plays big at the point of attack.

Look for Stanford to stay thick in the hunt for quite a while.

Oregon State

7 of 12

Top Target: Demorea Stringfellow, WR

Stringfellow is a tall and well-built WR from Southern California who goes 6'3", 195 pounds. His length is great, allowing him to make catches all around his frame.

He has solid speed and deceptive quickness. The Beavers have staunch competition for him, but the potential of early playing time in Corvallis could certainly entice him.

Oregon

8 of 12

Top Target: James Quick, WR

Of course an offensive player would be Oregon's top target, right? Quick hails all the way from the state of Kentucky and goes 6'1", 175 pounds.

He has athleticism, can get deep with ease and menace a secondary all over the field. Oregon has a really good chance here.

Colorado

9 of 12

Top Target: Kenneth Clark, DT

Clark is a classic one-gap DT all the way. He's 6'2", 285 pounds and is from Rialto, Calif. Clark excels at surging off the line, piercing creases and playing in the backfield.

He'll stall at times and needs to add more bulk, but that'll come with time in a college strength program. He has a high ceiling and the Buffs know it.

California

10 of 12

Top Target: Eddie Vanderdoes, DT

As I look at more and more film of Vanderdoes, I like him best as a DT or a 3-4 DE. He's already 6'4", is approaching 300 pounds and is extremely strong.

Vanderdoes can toss blockers aside with strength to shed or hold up and stack to combat the run. He'll push the pocket as a rusher, but his best value comes vs. the run.

Arizona State

11 of 12

Arizona State: Priest Willis, S

Willis has national offers, but he's from Tempe and Todd Graham better do all he can to get Willis to stay home. The Sun Devils could definitely use a 6'2", 190-pound hard-hitting safety with range and athleticism.

It's going to be tight, but ASU has home-field advantage.

Arizona

12 of 12

Top Target: Pierre Cormier, RB

Another great RB prospect from San Diego, Cormier is a 5'11", 180-pounder who reminds me of Dillon Baxter.

No, not the antics, but how he's more quick than fast and has excellent stop-and-start ability. Cormier shows great elusiveness in space and can factor as a receiver out of the backfield.
