Watch Lil Wayne's Son Dwayne Kick for HSFB Team on Video, Has Offer From Deion Sanders, Colorado
Lil Wayne may have some family company in the fame department if his son continues to kick field goals like he did in Gainesville High School's contest against Buford.
Dwayne Carter III, who is the son of the famous rapper, kicks for Gainesville in Georgia and buried two first-half field goals against Buford in the eventual 39-19 loss.
Hunter Shelton of On 3 noted the kicks were from 35 yards out in the first quarter and 26 yards out in the second quarter.
According to Shelton, Carter's first Division I football scholarship came from Colorado and head coach Deion Sanders. That would give him an opportunity to kick under quite a national spotlight, as the Buffaloes compete in the Big 12.
Colorado enjoyed plenty of success in the kicking department last season, as Alejandro Mata drilled 30 of his 31 extra points and 81.8 percent of his field-goal attempts. However, his eligibility expired, which was quite the loss considering his 204 career points are ninth in school history.
His 31 made field goals are also sixth.
Perhaps Carter can be his long-term replacement if he accepts the scholarship offer.
