UPDATE: Sunday, June 3 at 5:51 ET by Richard Langford

Tiger Woods captured his second PGA win of the season and his fifth career win at the Memorial.

Woods blur of a fist speeding through the air in a viscous upper cut motion near the 16th green told onlookers everything they needed to know about this Sunday. Tiger was on the prowl.

This is the shot that inspired that fist pump.

That shot tied Tiger atop the leaderboard with Rory Sabbatini at eight-under. Sabbatani quickly dropped a stroke as he followed Tiger onto 16, and Tiger birdied the 18th for good measure.

Update: Saturday at 5:45 EDT by Jesse Reed

Talk about an up-and-down kind of day. The third round is coming to a close at Muirfield Village, and the action out on the course has been a mixture of pleasure and pain for the golfers vying for the lead.

Tiger Woods started out the day on a positive note, making birdies at No. 1 and No. 7 before losing his marbles on the back nine, where he shot four bogeys to just one birdie. He finished the day in 73 strokes, and he sits at minus-four.

Leader David Levin continued his strong play today, as he matched the low round of the day at minus-three. He head into Sunday's final round with a one-stroke lead over one of this week's most surprising players, Rory Sabbatini.

They call Saturday, "moving day" for a reason, and today was a clear example of why. After yesterday's round had 26 players within five shots of the lead, there are only seven players who are within five shots of Levin heading into Sunday.

Update: Saturday at 2:10 EDT by Jesse Reed

The leaders are off and running in Round 3, and Tiger Woods has already made some noise by pulling even with Rory Sabbatini for the lead at minus-six. Spencer Levin is also playing well early and is tied for the lead, as well.

The leaderboard is finally starting to thin out a bit, as there are now only 22 players within five shots of the lead. Over the course of the first couple of rounds there were as many as 37 golfers within the same margin.

The leaders still have most of their third rounds left to play, so stay tuned as we track their progress this afternoon.

Update: Friday at 8:20 EDT by Jesse Reed

The second round of the Memorial Tournament is just about in the books, with just a handful of golfers still out on the course.

Tiger Woods regained his composure after scoring a double-bogey on the 12th hole, scoring two more birdies in the final six holes to finish with a 69 on the day. At minus-five, Woods is one shot back from surprise leader Rory Sabbatini, who also shot a 69 to finish the day at minus-six.

The cut line after two rounds was set at plus-three, and Rory McIlroy won't be playing on the weekend for a third straight tournament after shooting a plus-seven on the day to finish with a score of plus-six.

Jim Furyk put together one of the day's finest rounds, shooting 68 and settling comfortably into a tie for fifth place at minus-four heading into the weekend.

Lucas Glover and Henrik Stenson both matched Furyk's 68—the lowest rounds of the day—and moved up into a tie for 12th place at minus-two.

The leaderboard continues to stay crowded, as there are 26 players within five shots of Sabbatini. This weekend is sure to provide us with more excitement and plenty of excellent golf. Stay tuned as we head into the money rounds.

Update: Friday at 6:30 EDT by Jesse Reed

Tiger Woods took a bit of a tumble down the leaderboard a while ago when he double-bogeyed the 12th hole. He's now two shots back of the leaders—Scott Stallings and Spencer Levin—both of whom have finished their rounds and are in the clubhouse at minus-five for the tournament.

Jim Furyk, the old codger, is having a phenomenal day under difficult circumstances, as the weather—specifically the wind—continues to be a huge factor. He is four under par for the day through 12 holes, and he's tied for second place with five other golfers.

Aaron Baddeley continues his strong play for the second-straight day, and he's only one shot back at minus-four, having shot minus-one through 12 holes.

Rory McIlroy, who started out his second round at minus-one, is now sitting right at the cut line. He is plus-five for the day, and his body language clearly indicates that he doesn't have the confidence to make any moves in the right direction.

Stay tuned for my final update of the day after Round 2 is complete.

Update: Friday at 4:45 EDT by Jesse Reed

Don't look now. Tiger Woods is tied for the lead at minus-five.

While most of the field has struggled to conquer the tough conditions on the golf course, Woods is regaining his championship form. Through seven holes, he is minus-three on the day.

Aaron Baddeley is also having a good start to his second round, shooting minus minus-two on the day so far, and he is tied with Woods, Spencer Levin and Scott Stallings for the lead.

The leaderboard is still as crowded as ever, with 37 players within five shots of the lead. This weekend's action is going to be must-see TV for golf lovers like me, and I hope you'll stay tuned to Bleacher Report as we continue to update this post and supply you with opinion and analysis on our Golf page.

Update: Friday at 2:45 EDT by Jesse Reed

The second round of the Memorial is underway, though some golfers have yet to tee off. Tiger Woods (minus-two) and Rory McIlroy (minus-one) are among that group, and both men are still within striking distance of the leader, Scott Stallings, who is even par for the day and minus-six for the tournament.

Adam Scott has worked his way up the board, and with a round of minus-two through 16 holes he's just two shots off the lead, at minus-four for the tournament.

Johnson Wagner and Troy Matteson have both shot three under par for the day, moving them into a tie for fourth place with seven other golfers at minus-three for the tournament.

There is a lot of golf yet to be played today, so stay tuned for more updates as the results come in.

Update: Thursday at 6:46 p.m. EDT by Tim Keeney

The first round is over and some non-household names are atop the leaderboard. Scott Stallings is alone in first place at six-under while Spencer Levin and Erik Compton trail by just one shot.

However, there are some big-boy names not too far behind.

Tiger Woods had a good round, and he sits tied for 11th at two strokes under par. Also lurking are the world No. 1 and 2 players, Luke Donald  and Rory McIlroy. Both sit tied for 20th place at one-under.

Update: Thursday at 2:42 p.m. EDT by Jesse Reed

The Memorial is off and running, and every competitor has either finished their round or is currently out on the course. There is a logjam at the top of the leaderboard, as seven players share the lead at minus-three, while 36 players are within two shots of the lead.

The world's No. 1 golfer, Luke Donald, has finished his first round already and is one of the 37 who are within two strokes. He shot a solid 71 today, ending the day at minus-one. He would have been one of the leaders if not for an unfortunate double-bogey on the 18th hole.

Tiger Woods has gotten off to a good start. He is also finished, having shot a round of 70 today. He is one shot behind the leaders at minus-two, but I'm sure he's frustrated by his finish, as he also made double-bogey on the 18th hole.

With such a tightly-bunched group at the top, this tournament is shaping up to be a fun one for us spectators at home. Stay tuned for more updates.

Prediction: Bubba Watson

The 2012 Masters champion has played well this season and will certainly be a top contender at the Memorial.

If he can continue to be effective on par fives and approach the green well, Watson will go into the final day with the lead, or be within striking distance for the title.
