WWE SmackDown: Why Daniel Bryan Should Avoid Overkill by Saying 'Yes' Less
Is too much of a good thing a bad thing? Is there a way of knowing if we've had enough before we've had enough? Is there such a thing as too much kindness? Too much peace? Too much love? Too much money? Too much water? Too much "YES"?
Does Daniel Bryan say "YES" too much?
When Daniel Bryan started saying "YES," he was the World Heavyweight Champion, and he usually only said it during his entrance to the ring and after he won matches.

Even after losing the World Heavyweight Championship in 18 seconds to Sheamus at WrestleMania XXVIII, Daniel Bryan continues to say "YES," and large parts of the crowd now chant along with him.
Due to the popularity with the fans, Daniel Bryan has gotten a shirt that says "YES" and extended his use of the word to in-ring action. Every time Bryan kicks opponents, he says it. Every time he hits a running dropkick: "YES." D-Bryan sometimes pumps up the crowd during matches by saying "YES."
Every time he locks in the "YES" lock...you guessed it: "YES."
Some fans have compared Daniel Bryan's "YES" to Stone Cold Steve Austin's "What." However, Stone Cold only said "What" during promos and conversations. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Stone Cold never yelled "What" before giving someone a stunner or while "stompin' mudholes and walkin' 'em dry."
Fans' "YES" chants are great and will probably never die—just as the "What" chants haven't died. However, does Daniel Bryan say "YES" too much?
Have you ever listened to a great song for the first time and found yourself listening to it over and over and over again because it sounds so great? Do you remember what you were thinking while listening to the song over and over and over again? "Wow, this song is so great; I can't get enough of it."
Did you get sick of the song?
Fans obviously love hearing Daniel Bryan say "YES." However, how much is too much? Will fans get sick of hearing Daniel Bryan say it before, during and after his matches? Or will fans always want to hear more and more and more "YES"?
