Cleveland Browns: Colt McCoy Expects a Shot at Starting Job vs. Brandon Weeden
Cleveland Browns general manager Tom Heckert might have said he "fully expects" to see Brandon Weeden as the starting quarterback for the 2012 NFL season (news via Associated Press, h/t ESPN), but Colt McCoy still expects a fair shot at the starting job, according to Tom Withers of the AP (h/t triblive.com).
With Tuesday being the kickoff to the Browns' organized team activities, we already have some drama with Brandon Weeden vs. Colt McCoy.
McCoy, being mediocre to say the least, will have to definitely impress a ton of people if he hopes to have a chance of starting at quarterback in 2012 for the Cleveland Browns, considering that Weeden is the early favorite for the job.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The 25-year-old McCoy certainly has his back against the wall, as Weeden is 28 years old and the Browns would love to get him on the field sooner rather than or later—especially as they spent a first-round selection on the Oklahoma State product.
With the start to the 2012 season still a long ways away, as we have yet to hit June, we already have some drama, and this is certainly going to be a story that we're all going to have to follow.
Both quarterbacks are arguably in a tough position, as the winner will be forced to play with little talent in the wide receiver corps, as Greg Little should not be a team's No. 1 receiver. And on the other hand, the loser will have be forced to ride the bench and could possibly be traded, which would be in the best interest of both parties.
With the Browns front office already coming out and throwing all of their support to Weeden, they better hope he's ready to take the step into the role of an NFL starting quarterback or the decision of drafting a 28-year-old in the first round will forever haunt the organization.
