WWE's Worst Person of the Week: Big Show
Not many heels did anything all that terrible this week, so it was tough to find the WWE’s “Worst Person of the Week.”
So, I decided to go with someone who at least started the week off as a baby face: The Big Show.
On last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, we were forced to sit through the longest, most boring, ridiculous segment in recent WWE history when Big Show cried for 10 minutes as he pleaded for John Laurinaitis not to fire him.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
This was like a really bad car accident: Something so awful (in this case, the entire segment) that you can’t help but watch it.
As the segment dragged on, we knew that Big Show’s supposed firing would eventually lead to something bigger. When it was revealed in the main event segment that any superstar who interfered in John Laurinaitis vs. John Cena at Over the Limit would be fired, that something bigger became incredibly obvious.
We all knew that, since he was technically no longer a WWE superstar, Big Show would interfere on Laurinaitis’ behalf on Sunday and cost Cena the match.
And that’s exactly what happened.
Cena dominated the majority of his match with Laurinaitis early on, causing Laurinaitis to flee from the arena. But Laurinaitis was brought back into the ring by Big Show, who looked as if he was going to attack the Raw and SmackDown GM, but instead, decided to nail Cena with the WMD.
Cena lost, Laurinaitis won, and People Power is still in full effect.
Looking back at what’s transpired between Show, Laurinaitis and Cena, Laurinaitis has become the puppet master of the situation, but Show might even get more backlash from the fans.
Why? Because one of two things has happened: Either Show and Laurinaitis were in cahoots together the entire time, or Show is turning heel and joining forces with Laurinaitis.
I suppose there’s a chance that Show will try to act like he only did this to get his job back, but I think it’s much more likely that he goes full-fledged heel and feuds with Cena.
That probably won’t sit well with Big Show’s fans, as Show has developed into one of the WWE’s most over-baby faces over the last couple of years.
I personally love the likely heel turn, as Big Show’s face character has gotten incredibly stale and redundant over the last six months or so.
But all the people in the crowd who cheer for Show night in and night out are going to quickly turn those cheers into boos.
