WWE Over the Limit 2012: How Big Show Will Get His Job Back on PPV
The WWE is constantly filled with twists and turns that leave fans on edge like they are watching some sort of murder-mystery show—and they’re up to their typical tricks with Big Show.
The way he was disgracefully fired on Monday Night Raw had the sold out Pittsburgh crowd in complete shock. They were horrified to see an 18-year veteran reduced to begging for forgiveness on his knees and weeping like a little baby.
This is not what you expect a 450 pound man to do.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
As of now, he's fired from the WWE and out on the streets looking for a new job like most of America. This is where the brilliance of the WWE creative team comes in handy.
There is no way a vet like Big Show is given the boot for simply mocking the raspy voice of John Laurinaitis. It would be a slap in the face to every fan and the backlash would be rather significant.
With Over the Limit this Sunday, the stage is set for Big Show to make a…um…big return.
How will he do it? Will it be by helping John Cena defeat the evil suit?
That sounds too predictable.
Besides, does Cena really need help against this guy less than a month after surviving the vicious attacks of Brock Lesnar? It would be like beating the Yankees on the road, then playing a home game against the Royals.
The more realistic path is to have Show turn heel, and help out Laurinaitis. It was announced at the end of Raw that if Laurinaitis loses on Sunday, he would be fired as general manager of both Raw and SmackDown.
With the way he has been built up over the past 50 days or so since WrestleMania, there's no way he’ll be swept under the rug like that. I think it was a poor decision for them to announce this wrinkle before the match.
The other wrinkle that comes into play is that no member of the active WWE community is permitted to help Laurinaitis in the ring. Big Show is no longer an employee.
How convenient.
We haven’t seen the last of the Big Show. After his terrific acting job on Monday, he deserves a raise and an increased role in the WWE. I’m sure that a big part on the PPV on Sunday and getting re-hired by the company will be enough.
Fear not, Big Show fans. The big ogre isn’t going anywhere.
You may not be thrilled with watching Laurinaitis defeat Cena, but it’s the only way Big Show once again becomes a WWE superstar.
