WWE over the Limit: Why Chris Jericho Needs to Win the World Heavyweight Title
Chris Jericho has done and won everything there is in WWE over his career, but the veteran needs to win the World Heavyweight title next Sunday to stay in the elite echelon of performers.
Jericho will always be in that echelon when judging simply by talent, but his latest run with WWE since returning a few months before WrestleMania has been filled with putting over the younger talent like CM Punk.
I applaud the Canadian-born wrestler for doing what many greats before him have refused to do and pass the torch to the new faces of the company, but management needs to give Jericho some small victories to keep the audience thinking he's one of the best heels they have.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Sure he pinned Sheamus on Monday Night Raw this past Monday, but that was only to set the stage for himself and Randy Orton being added to Alberto Del Rio and the champion's match at the upcoming pay-per-view.
The fact is, besides some victories over Kofi Kingston and the Battle Royal match he won to set up CM Punk vs. Jericho part II, the original undisputed WWE champion hasn't been able to string together a whole ton of victories.
With Triple H now wearing suits instead of spandex, Undertaker on a part-time schedule and Edge retired, the WWE has lost many of their premier talents in a short amount of time and they should take advantage of the fact they have a premier talent like Jericho still on the payroll.
It's good to see Jericho giving back and putting over guys like Punk, but you can't let his star-power fade to the point where the fans don't see him as a legitimate threat to the title or his opponent.
While Sheamus' reign as World Heavyweight Champion hasn't been a particularly long one, Orton and Jericho are the two of the best at driving compelling storylines, and it'd be interesting to see Sheamus try to regain his title against either one.
While Orton hasn't been in the title hunt for several months now, Jericho is the one that matches best with Sheamus' character. During his feud with Punk, Y2J got under the skin of the WWE Champion and that same idea would work well considering Sheamus is portrayed as a short-tempered individual.
As always with the nine-time Intercontinental Champion, there's no telling when he may take another hiatus or hang up the boots for good, and it would be great to see Sheamus and Y2J feud it out at least once.
