Euro 2012: Germany's Joachim Löw Has Right to Be Worried About Late Call-Ups
This may be Germany's best chance to win Euro 2012 since its title in 1996, but coach Joachim Löw is still wary of what lies ahead.
That's because Löw will only be able to work with the entire German Euros squad for one-and-a-half weeks. While the DFB Pokal on May 12 will leave Borussia Dortmund's players free to join up with their national teams, Löw will only have Bayern Munich's players at his disposal after the club's May 19 date with Chelsea in the Champions League final.
Löw knows it's part of soccer, via Goal.com: "You have to live with these uncertainties as a coach. I have no choice, I will not complain."

Nonetheless, how will players such as Manuel Neuer, Philip Lahm, Mario Gotze and Mats Hummels feel down the line? There's not only the potential for them to tire in the Euro Cup, there's the potential for injuries to occur.
While Spain has proven to be a favorite after the win in 2008, a lot of people think Germany has a legitimate shot to unseat the Spaniards and win the Euros for the first time in 16 years. The Germans have a lot of talent this year and are sure to be eying the title.
But none of that matters if some pivotal players come into the tournament tired and not as explosive. Germany, despite being a favorite, could turn into an underwhelming team at Euro 2012 if its players aren't right.
Euro 2012 will undoubtedly be a battle, but it could prove to be more grueling for Germany than one would think.
