WWE News: Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H Must Be Saved for SummerSlam
After Brock Lesnar attacked Triple H on Raw a couple weeks ago, it became clear a storyline was starting to develop between the two stars. There hasn't been a date announced for a potential match, but the WWE should save it for SummerSlam, one of the year's top shows.
There have been plenty of different rumors about when the feud will take center stage. The latest update comes from Justin LaBar of WrestleZone.com, who reports current plans for the match don't point toward the summer's marquee pay-per-view.
"The WWE creative writing team hasn't even been informed on the specific direction of the angle. Those high-ranking WWE officials are claiming Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar will NOT happen at SummerSlam, but reportedly sources still say the match will take place in August.

Triple H against Lesnar has the potential to become one of the best storylines of the entire year, especially now that Paul Heyman has returned to serve as Lesnar's mouthpiece. Using it for anything other than a SummerSlam main event would be a waste.
Lesnar was never expected to work a full schedule when he returned to the WWE, which is why the quitting angle was run on Monday night. Since he'll only be around periodically leading up to next year's WrestleMania, it's important the company picks its spots wisely.
Losing to John Cena at Extreme Rules put a serious dent in the aura surrounding Lesnar. It's going to take a solid rebuild to make him the dominant force he was being portrayed as after returning from his time with UFC.
Taking him off television for a while and adding Heyman to the mix are both steps in the right direction. However, neither of those will have the same effect as facing off with Triple H at SummerSlam, especially if he's given the victory.
The WWE put a lot of faith in Lesnar by giving him a big contract to return, so it really can't afford for him to fail. That's why his loss to Cena was so surprising. That being said, beating Triple H would make up for it and more.
It won't have the same impact if it doesn't happen at SummerSlam, though. It's one of the handful events that are treated with a special level of hype, so Lesnar would gain the momentum he needs to become a huge draw once again.
Hopefully, the WWE realizes that soon enough to make sure the match reaches maximum potential. Otherwise it will get squandered, which would be a bigger disaster than Lesnar's loss to Cena.
