Newcastle United Honor Sir Bobby Robson with Statue at St. James' Park
After a number of questionable decisions regarding St. James' Park this season, Newcastle United have made a fantastic move in honoring the late Sir Bobby Robson with a statue just outside the ground, according to the Daily Mail.
The statue was unveiled before the team's big game against Manchester City at what is now known as the Sports Direct Arena, to the laudation of many a Newcastle fan.
Though hopes of Champions League football were all but dashed with the loss on Sunday, it was certainly fitting to honor the man who last led Newcastle to the tournament back in 2003.

A number of Newcastle legends—both past and present—including the likes of Paul Gascoigne and Alan Pardew, were on hand to witness the unveiling, with the latter hoping his management of the Toon can one day be held in the same esteem as Sir Bobby's.
Newcastle aren't actually the first club to give this honor to Sir Bobby, though.
Almost 10 years ago today, it was Ipswich Town who unveiled a bronze statue of the football legend at Portman Road, which is fair enough considering Robson had his first major managerial success with The Tractor Boys.
With the Freedom of Newcastle upon Tyne, a BBC Sports Personality Lifetime Achievement Award and an induction into the English Football Hall of Fame to his name, this statue is just another brilliant way to honor one of football's truly great men.
