Brock Lesnar: Superstar's Return Is Latest Sign WWE Is in Big Trouble
Everyone is all smiles in WWE right now, following an electric WrestleMania that saw three really good matches and the return of Brock Lesnar to Raw after eight years away. Be warned, this is yet another instance of the company fixing a long-term problem with a short-term solution.
The crowd in Miami, along with the viewing audience, came completely unglued when Lesnar came out to give John Cena an F-5. It was a great moment for a company that has been light on those in recent years.
Certainly, the short term gain the company will get from having Lesnar on Raw is going to be nice. But looking at the details of his new contract, he is not going to be on television every week, and what he does at pay-per-view shows is going to be interesting.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Based on what we saw last night, it seems WWE has designs on a Lesnar-Cena program heading into Extreme Rules. The rivalry could be dragged out until SummerSlam, though right now that doesn't seem likely.
But what do you do with both of these stars when the feud is over?
Lesnar is a nice temporary solution, but he still does nothing to solve the biggest problem WWE has: an inability to create new stars for top wrestlers like Cena to work with.
The whole reason Lesnar is back right now is because there is no one in the company who can feud with Cena.
Think about it: Cena would go from wrestling The Rock at WrestleMania to...Bueller...Bueller...Bueller?
It is a sad state of affairs in WWE right now, one that Lesnar has been brought in to try and hide. He is not going to help make new stars, nor is WWE going to ask him to do that.
The moment in Miami was a great one for WWE and a fun way to kick off the post-WrestleMania season, but it is going to create more problems rather than helping to get the roster the depth that it desperately needs right now.
