Tim Tebow to Jets: Reported Concerns from Players Prove Trade Was Foolish
The New York Jets will regret the day they decided to bring Tim Tebow in as their backup quarterback. This whole situation is just straight-up silly and it's going to come back to bite them.
He's not worth the trouble in any way, shape or form. To be frank, no backup quarterback is worth the trouble that Tebow will be bringing to town.
As a football fan, this should make you sick to your stomach. It doesn't make any sense from a football perspective. Not only is Tebow a sub-par quarterback, but he's the ultimate distraction. Which backup has their own press conference? An even better question to ask is: Which backup quarterback has their own deli sandwich?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This reeks of a publicity stunt and on a team that needs a little bit less publicity and a little bit more stability, Tebow's going to be a horrible addition.
How is Tebow supposed to help starting quarterback Mark Sanchez? What happens when Sanchez struggles and "Tebowmania" falls down upon Gang Green like acid rain falling from the sky? Has anybody in the Jets organization even considered the implications of this trade on the locker room?
According to a report from Brian Costello of the New York Post, there are already Jets players concerned about bringing in Tebow:
"The players fear the worst could come this fall with a divided locker room, Sanchez sapped of confidence and Tebow playing a bigger role despite being a lesser passer. It is difficult to find anyone outside of general manager Mike Tannenbaum and coach Rex Ryan who feels optimistic about this move.
"
This is going to be a disaster.
Tebow hasn't even taken one practice snap for the Jets and there's already reported concerns surrounding his role with the team.
The Jets need stability, but by trading for Tebow they are getting uncertainty and pandemonium. The Jets need unity. By trading for Tebow, they are setting themselves up for division, unhealthy competition and drama.
Do the Jets want to win Super Bowls or win some more publicity? By bringing in Tim Tebow, they've publicly gone after one of those goals. I'll leave it up to you to decide which one...
