Tim Tebow: Topps Unveils Trading Card with Quarterback in Jets Jersey
New York Jets fans who are chomping at the bit to see Tim Tebow in green don't need to wait until the Jets open camp later this summer.
After a lot of drama, the Jets acquired Tebow from the Denver Broncos on Wednesday for a fourth- and sixth-round draft pick, according to ESPN.com. It took just 24 hours for the folks at Topps to design a trading card with Tebow in a Jets uniform.

Per the Daily News, this trading card will be part of the Bowman Football set, which will launch in May. Topps expects it to be a hot item, and it most certainly will be.
Tebow may be about to slide into a backup role behind Mark Sanchez, but it's a well-established fact that memorabilia bearing his name tends to sell like hotcakes. According to the USA Today, only Aaron Rodgers' jersey sold better than Tebow's in 2011, and FoxSports.com reported in December that Tebow's biography stayed on the best-seller list for 13 weeks after it was released in May.
The Jets aren't bringing in Tebow just because he can sell. General manager Mike Tannenbaum confirmed on Thursday that Tebow will be featured in special Wildcat packages, and he says the Jets will use them liberally if they prove to be successful.
"If our offense is sputtering, and we have, say, three three-and-outs, and we roll this out there and it's successful, who knows," Tannenbaum said, via The Star-Ledger. "I think it will just depend on the game and the situation."
It's possible that the Jets' special Wildcat formations will call for Tebow to run the option or just take off and run more often than they call for him to pass.
It is therefore very appropriate that the Topps card does not feature Tebow throwing a forward pass.
