Raptors vs Knicks: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Spread Info and More
The New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors square off on Tuesday night in a game between two teams who are headed in opposite directions. One team is headed for the playoffs, the other is headed for the lottery.
The Knicks are starting to click together. Since they made a coaching change, they've won three straight by a total of 71 points. The Raptors, on the other hand, are coming off a loss to the NBA's worst team, the Charlotte Bobcats.
This will be the third matchup between the teams this season. The Raptors overcame 35 points by Carmelo Anthony in the first game as Andrea Bargnani and DeMar DeRozan posted 21 apiece. The Knicks won the second game during the peak of "Linsanity" as Jeremy Lin scored 27 points and added 11 assists.
The Knicks will be looking to continue their winning streak under new coach Mike Woodson, while the Raptors will be looking to get the sour taste of the Bobcat loss out of their mouths.

What They're Saying
There was a lot of talk about how the offense would work under Woodson and what would happen to "Linsanity," but the defense has been what's been impressive in the last three games. ESPN's Johnette Howard says,
"But now Woodson's in charge, preaching more "accountability" in every other sentence he utters. And all of a sudden, there was the Knicks defense rising up against the Pacers on Friday, just as it did when it held Portland to just 12 first-quarter points on Wednesday. And there was Stoudemire, right there with everyone else. Suddenly he was moving as if the floorboards beneath his feet were on fire. He was harassing the Pacers' David West and Tyler Hansbrough in the paint and trying to trap them way out on the wings; he smacked the ball out of Hansbrough's hands beneath the rim, blocked a shot, then blew by the Pacers at the other end of the floor for a dribble-drive basket and a dunk off a miss, which Stoudemire punctuated by doing a chin-up on the rim and then hanging there for a while.
"
Most Important Player to Watch
So far under Woodson, Anthony has not gone all "Iso-Melo" as some people expected, but continues to play contained and effective ball. If he continues to keep going the way he's going, leading but not replacing the team, this is a group that should have little problem with the Raptors.
Key Matchup: Andrea Bargnani vs. Amar'e Stoudemire
For the Raptors to have any chance at an upset here they are going to need a big night from Bargnani. With his length and deep shot he could challenge Stoudemire defensively. His career high of 41 points came against Stoudemire last season.
On the other hand, Stoudemire has generally gotten the best of the matchups, and stands 10-0 against Bargnani over the course of their careers.
Prediction
