Tim Tebow Trade Rumors: QB Should Learn from Peyton Manning If Signed by Broncos
Tim Tebow is not a good quarterback, so if somehow he's given the opportunity to learn from sure-to-be Hall-of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning, he would be a very wise man to take it.
Forget all the trade talk and speculation, Tebow would be best served to stay behind Manning and learn from one of the best of all time.
It couldn't hurt, right?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Ever since Manning was rumored to have the Denver Broncos on his short list of potential teams, the rage has been to talk about Tebow and what that would mean for him.
It actually got to the point where Tim Kavanagh of ESPN Insider actually wrote a hypothetical trade situation that would have the Broncos trading Tebow to the Jacksonville Jaguars, if Denver was hypothetically able to land Manning:
"This hypothetical scenario would present the Broncos with three options: a) keep Tebow on the roster as a QB, backing up Manning; b) turn him into an H-back, as some indicated they should do after he was drafted; c) sell him off to the highest bidder in trade.
It's that third suggestion that is most intriguing, as there's a new owner of a particular NFL team that lamented his team's non-drafting of Tebow in remarks earlier this offseason. That man is Shahid Khan, the new owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars, a franchise that plays about 70 miles from where Tebow's legend first blossomed at the Univ. of Florida.
To be clear, this is not saying that the Jags are definitely interested in Tebow—we haven't been led to believe this from anything we've heard—but here's a hypothetical scenario: the Broncos get Peyton, Denver offers Tebow for a second-round pick. Which team says no to that?
"
While Denver could certainly get something back for Tebow in a trade, the idea of keeping him around would have to be incredibly intriguing as well.
He's a bad quarterback, there is no doubt about it, but he's a great leader, a good athlete and an overall good football player.
Sure, they can turn him into an H-back of sorts like Kavanagh suggested, but how about keeping him around as a backup quarterback to learn and potentially get better under Manning?
I'm hard pressed to believe that a guy like Tebow wouldn't learn a lot and take pointers from a legendary quarterback like Manning.
Remember, Manning is about to turn 37 years old. He doesn't have many more years of quality football ahead of him. For all we know at this point, he might not have any.
Let's just pretend, since we're hypothetically speaking nowadays, that Tebow is able to spend a year or two learning from Manning. Even more hypothetical, let's pretend he develops into a better quarterback because of that.
Once Manning retires, you throw Tebow back into the starting role as a smarter, more polished quarterback, and then you take it from there.
It would be a great situation for all involved—that is, if Tebow was OK with this sort of thing.
Also, we would need to live in a world where hypothetical situations came true.
Either way, there's an alternative for those who wouldn't want to lose Tebow.
You're welcome.
