NFL Rumors: Why Denver Broncos are the Best Team for Peyton Manning
And the Peyton Manning wooing continues.
After making a stop off in Denver, Peyton Manning continued his nationwide tour on Sunday, this time making a stop in Arizona to listen to the Cardinals pitch at making him their new quarterback.
On Friday, the former Indianapolis icon landed in Denver at the request of Broncos team president, John Elway, to talk about possibly coming into Denver and leading Elway's team to the promised land.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
While Manning has stops scheduled in Arizona with the Bidwells, and then on to Miami to meet with team owner Stephen Ross, it has become clear all three of the franchises may have a certain angle that would appeal to the future Hall of Fame passer.
Denver, although already entrenched "at the moment" with Tim Tebow, have room for growth in the passing game and while the former first round pick from Florida may have taken the Broncos to the playoffs last season, Elway and team head coach John Fox have both said they would bring in other quarterbacks during the offseason for "competition."
Manning is a good fit for many reasons.
A team on the rise needs a leader who has been through the wars of battling for playoff position can rub off on younger, hungry teams. And Manning works well with nondescript receivers who can make catches down the middle of the field and in the seam.
Manning's arrival in Denver could also mean the team could shop for a free agent receiver (Harry Douglas), or land one in the first two rounds of the draft (Mohamed Sanu of Rutgers). And then, when all else fails there is the idea of bringing in Reggie Wayne and possibly Pierre Garcon to complement rising star Demaryius Thomas as well as the reliable Eric Decker.
Moves that are as blockbuster as these usually don't happen without "issues" that hold things up.
Manning and Tebow have the same agent. The team may not want Wayne or Garcon, or both. The camaraderie between Tebow and the team is already grounded. And of course, there is the possibility of the Broncos not wanting to pay what Manning wants for his services, knowing he could still be damaged goods.
But for now, Manning may give the young neophytes a real boost in the arm, more so than Tebow could now. It's not an indictment of Tebow and his ability.
It speaks more to the idea that someone with the type of success Manning has had is the best option for this team to move forward in the playoffs.
