Celtics vs. Lakers: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Spread Info and More
One of the most storied rivalries in all of sports resumes on Sunday afternoon, when the Boston Celtics travel out west to take on the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Celtics have been on a roll since the All-Star break, winning six of their last seven games and climbing up to the No. 7 spot in the Eastern Conference standings. The offense, in particular, has stepped up, scoring over 100 points four times during this resurgence.
The Lakers are still trying to find some consistency, but as long as Kobe Bryant is breathing, they will be dangerous. He is trying to do it all for this team, and to this point it has worked. They will need someone to step up in order to compete for a title when the playoffs begin.

What They Are Saying
The Lakers' biggest problem this season has been on offense, which is unusual considering the triumvirate of Bryant, Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol, but the Mike Brown system has not always agreed with them.
After a loss earlier this week, Brown came out and said that the problem with the team is a lack of patience and execution with the ball.
"We forced shots, and forcing shots is not a good thing for us. We're not a team that can create on our own. At times down the floor, we have to be an executing team, a spacing team, a team that moves the ball and moves bodies, and in the second half we didn't do it.
"
The ball [got] stuck a lot. We forced shots, whether it was over two people, or in front of one person that was covering us very well.
Most Important Player To Watch: Celtics PG Rajon Rondo
In a defensive battle, which this should end up being, the point guard is going to have the most say in who wins and loses. The Celtics have one of the best in the business, so it will be critical for the Lakers to keep someone around Rondo at all times.
Even if Rondo isn't shooting the ball well, as has been the case the last four games, he is so great at getting everyone else involved that he changes games without scoring. His performance is going to dictate the outcome of this matchup.
Key Matchup: Andrew Bynum vs. Boston's Big Men
Rebounding and second-chance points would be the reason that the Lakers win this game. Bynum has developed into one of the best all-around centers in the NBA, and his presence in the middle gets the team a lot of extra shots because he is always fighting for rebounds.
The Celtics are the worst rebounding team in the league. They don't have a true center to put on Bynum, so it is going to be crucial that they grab every loose ball they can to prevent the Lakers from getting the ball back after misses.
Prediction
The Lakers are going to start heating up, and it will start with a victory over the Celtics.
